Im looking for a potentional roadster to use in b spec and online races. But theres 22 of these critters on the game im wondering which one is the best tuned to the max?

Buy the premium roadster in the NCD and max it out. It is a great car for b-spec as well as 525pp or less.

There are 3 (or 4 with DLC) Roadsters in NCD.

I personally love the back-to-basics NA Special Package '89.

Slap on some sport tyres and go wild.

If you have the Racing Car Pack DLC, then go with the Roadster TC. If not then the newest of the premiums - the '07 (?) Roadster from which the TC version is based on.

I bought both the '05 and '07 roadsters. I have the dlc TC it seems okay but i love experimenting with stock cars.

So far i see potentional in the '07

But the TC is based on the Na special package '89...

If you want to experiment, their are four general groupings of Miatas in the game:
NA 1.6 (up to 1993)
NA 1.8 (1994 to 1997)
NB (1998 to 2005)
NC (2006 to present)

I would expect the differences between fully-tuned variants in each group to be relatively minor. There are market differences in engine offerings for the NB and NC. I assume that a single choice has been picked for each of the three duplicates in the UCD, but I don't know which one.

I prefer the standard (NB) MX-5s. Why we got a Premium (NA) and (NC), but not a (NB), really beats me.

Fixed. ;)

Imho on 'normal' mx-5's only Comfort tyres would be appropriate (had one of these cars in real life - 1992 type). Anything else would be overkill for the regular road-going car - too much grip, not very realistic.

If you' just want to go as fast as possible, though, i guess the new 07 mx-5 or the TC race car would do, although it doesnt match up to the real life Spec Miata racers either.
