What is the best money to power ratio tuning part for a car. What gives you the most power for it's price? I hope you understand my question. Also, should my thread title be re-named? Or is it ok? If it should be re-named what should it be re-named to?

You could probably change the title. But to the answer!

I'd say either the 10,000 credit exhaust or the computer chip thingy... I'm not sure what it is. 1,000 credits.

Or maybe the Stage 3 Turbo? Anyone would say that one.

What shall i change the title to? And by computer chip thingy do you mean Sports ECU?

Maybe "Best Price to HP Parts"

And yes, the Sports ECU. I can never remember the name if it. :)

oil change.. lot's of HP for cheap money.. :O

The ECU at 1000 Cr is the best value, with the racing air filter and sports catalytic converter coming next. You can add all 3 for under 2000 Cr. And see significant improvement. Just remember that not all cars can take all parts. Also check the performance numbers on all the turbo's and supercharger before buying/installing one as the type 3 won't necessarily give you the greatest performance boost.

Thanks for enpowering me with your knowledge...

Does washing the car do anything or does it just make the car cleaner? Infact, does it even make the car cleaner?

Stage 3 Turbo is only good for high speed tracks. Tracks with lots of turns Stage 2 is best.

Daytona- stage 3

Nurburgring- stage 2

Yes it does make your car shine. And some say that washing your car gets the dirt off in which improving your aerodynamics.

I forgot about the oil change! How could I have forgotten that? What is it? 50 Credits? And with used car some get over 20 HP easy.

Ok cool. I don't really notice much difference when washing the car. You've encouraged me to wash my cars more often.

250 Cr plus you get to watch a cool animation of a guy crawling under your car while PSN disconnects you yet again :p

Stage 3 Turbo will be good for the long straight near the end of the track (Nürburgring).

Sometimes i imagine the car falling on him. :sly:

But back on-topic. What about Engine Overhaul? I don't know if that does much or not. But it seems to do something...

Plus you get to hear that nice bubbly sound...

I sorta like the squeaky sounds from the car wash, makes me look for my rubber ducky...

The 2 posts above made me laugh. :P

Anyways, about the Enging Overhaul... what does it do?

a Racefilter for 350,-

btw happy with the BMW GTR?

tested a bit on deep forrest over the weekend... and the CLS is ca. 2 sec faster (GTR got lower weight and higher hp)

i also think my Online setup for the CSL is nice only in 1 cornor 50%gas pedal or just accelerate bit later to protect from spinning out

lap time of: 1:11.8xx
its near on my offline time wich is 1.11:7xx

Who would want to get the sports filter when the Racing filter costs SLIGHTLY more and gives you MORE HP.

ähh i mean 750 for the racefilter or 750? im not sure^^

well but the cheapest method to get tuning parts is to dupe the expensive parts like weight reduce stage 3 etc.

the suspension settings will help alot for better laptimes and the transmission too

but so you have to reset your setup at different courses if someone is lazy like me its no option^^

 Let me rephrase that. What does it do performance wise to your car?

It increases your performance. It should anyway...When your engine is old HP is reduced and i think engine overhaul restores the lost HP so the engine is performing to it's full potential.

You know when the car spins after the car wash? Imagine you were in the car when it was spinning. Lol, you'll get dizzy it spins so fast.

Prior to the update with the power limiter and ballast I would sometimes put a sports filter on to meet a HP limit for a special event like the rallies.

Same reason I used to put other exhausts on cars for instead of just the titanium racing exhaust.

Mmmm... Interesting.
