Escudo is no Rally Car its a insane-car xD
For the "normal" ones I prefer:
Delta S4
Xsara Rally Car (nice for the Seasonals at Autumn Ring)
and any Subaru Rally Car

I'd say any Subaru rally car. They're reasonably fast, controllable and fun to drive.

The best and easiest to drive is the Ford RS200 Rally.

I easily won the rally special with a Lancia Delta, check it out it has 890 kg and 450 hp when it's fully equiped

While the Escudo will definitely destroy any other rally car, I prefer the Citroen Xsara Rally Car.

It may be FWD, but it's tons of fun to drive in dirt and snow.

Isn't the Escudo technically just a Pikes Peak car? Yes, it's rally, but not the usual point-to-point or circuit in GT5.

I would say whichever you feel best and most confortable in. It's all a matter of opinion and driving style, because not every car suits everyone.

Lack of rally events in GT5 is a huge issue for me.

Yeah! I use them mainly on asfalt . Wher are the events and tracks from GT2?

The Escudo is awesome on road or rally, but sadly it does not class as a rally car and I was dissapointed that it had no real use in the game.

The Ford RS200 rally car is my clear favourite.

Lack of rally events in GT5 is a huge issue for me.

Evo super rally car is one of the best. I've beat escudo's with that car so easy to drive. Also, as mentioned the rs200 is pretty sweet too.

I like the Pugeot myself. I used it for all the rally events. I tried some of the faster ones but i couldnt get them to rotate as consistently.
