For as long as I can remember with the GT series, I have used Laguna Seca. I know the track like no other, I know how corners should feel, so I can quickly identify handling problems and dial the tune within a couple of sessions lapping and tuning.

I tested lots of cars in my time to get the proper PP values for the cars we used in our race events.

Usually I start in Suzuka. I think it's the best track for testing the speed of certain cars per lap. The track gives you lost of feedback for tunning too. If you tune your car to go fast at Suzuka it will go fast anywhere.

Then I test at a track like Trial Mountain or Deep Forest. Mainly to see how the cars are acting on bumpier tracks and how they cope with many sudden direction changes and how weight distribution works.

I finish on a track like Monza or Spa mainly for testing top speed and braking.

Of course this tests are useful if you're planining to organise an online series like GT500, DTM, etc. It's a lot of work certanly. :)

Nurburgring GP/F because of the Kerbs not being flat, it makes you be carefull with your line if you don't want to upset the balance of the car, there you know when a car goes where you want it to go. Plus, tests braking stability on the first corner.
