What is the best track to test cars on and score lap times? If there is a thread like this please link me too it.

While Grand Valley Speedway is my favorite track in GT6, I also find it to be a good test track as it has a variety of corners that I encounter most of the time.

I go with Apricot Hill. Part nastaglic, but mostly because it has about every component needed to test a car in 1:30. Hills, big turns, tight turns, and a long straight for top speeds.

Nurburgring, even though it takes too long to test cars there. One on my new favorites and a track I have come to love is Ascari, which I get similar results than the 'Ring, but in less time. Another option would be Cape Ring Full track.

I would say the Circuit de la Sarthe; has the straights for acceleration and speed, as well tight, slow turns and loose, fast curves for suspension tuning

I quite like the red-bull ring, because uphill straights, downhill straights, sharp corners, sweeping corners, banked corners, high speed corners, and one particular blind corner that gets me every time. nice track, and its well rendered!

I've tested over 560 cars at Suzuka Circuit.

In terms of length and technical difficulty I don't think there's a track that comes close.

Nordschleife is way too long to be consistently accurate with consecutive laps.

Tsukuba is awesome but a bit too short.

Grand Valley East say I, a little over a minute and good mix of corners and speed.

What this guys said.

I suggest a 1:15 to 2:15 track and something you are consistent with. Always, make sure you enjoy it.

I tune my cars at Autumn Ring. Almost as soon as I pull out of the pits, I hit turn one, and I know right then, if my car oversteers or understeers.

I really like Streets of Willow for testing. Has a couple of-camber corners, some tricky braking zones, a wide banked corner and a wide-ish flat corner. If a car is stable and predictable there, it's stable and predictable almost everywhere.

I don't like testing on the Nordschleife because there are enough bumps there that I typically want a slightly higher and softer setup for the 'ring than I'd want for smoother tracks. Love driving there, but I don't think it's the best place to get a universal tune.
