best way to brake in a car

Hey what's up guys just wondering whats Ur best way of breaking in a car? A spec races b spec what do u guys do

Convert it to a ODC Car.....

Other then that, the only way to do it is to drive it, be it a-spec or B-spec, I think it will also break in online, but not in "Free Run" mode. "Best" is subjective, they all do the job equaly, whats better for you depends, have fun racing it, or let B-Spec bob do it.

When I was going through the break in I would do a combo, drive it a bit, then let Bob run some laps. all it is is building miles on the ODO...

An OCD car is a car available for purchase in the Online Collectors Dealership when signed into the Playstation Network. Cars available here are typically cars from the Used Car Dealership that have had mileage reset to 0 without resetting the entire car and they require no break-in procedure. Doing this requires hacking the game data and the fact that someone would suggest this first over all of the other options irks me to no end.

As for the original question, this topic has been beaten to death in numerous other threads and search variables such as 'overhaul' or 'break-in' should be more than capable of locating said threads.

Seeing as it bothers me when people reply in this manner to already discussed topics without providing an answer really irks me as well; I'll say that I use 2x B-spec Like The Wind Indy and 2x B-spec Dream Car Championship Indy for a total of 200 miles. If the car's American, I use 4x B-spec American Championship Indy. I choose Indy because of the long straights and higher carried speed. Maybe not the best, but definitely one of the fastest methods requiring minimum effort.

Wow irked real easy by what other people do, and commenting on it lol.... That irks me, lmao, not really, I don't care lol. What does "irk" me is the comment saying my post didn't respond to the question, quite the opposite in fact, as I explained how the break in is calculated in the game (millage build up) & the uselessness of thinking beyond simply building up the miles required. I also pointed out A-Spe or B-Spec is simply preference and in no way is one better than the other

IMO a OCD conversion is the best, but I explained as much as needed don't be so irked by what others do, you will find yourself spending much time "irked" like that. Take care of yourself and don't pay so much attention to what other's do, especially me

Why because he said exactly what you said, but he said it better? The method is basically the exact same as your suggestions but give further detail with the oil tidbit and Hard to argue with a 200mile race to insure you have 200 miles driven

How is that a plug? Both methods are WIDELY used by people, and have been for quite some time. It makes no difference he linked his own post, it's legit. Get off your high horse, and stop putting people down simply because your opinion differs from someone else's.
The cutest part of your first post was you spent all those words and sentences discussing how you disagreed with another member's suggestion, and your advice on the OP involved, in a nut shell, telling them to search.

I apologize for denegrating the suggestion to participate in class racing, as it's a viable option that doesn't involve cheating, and even a method I've used on occasion. It just seemed plug-ish to me, but I probably shouldn't have replied without anything to add; I typically don't.

I will not, however, apologize for my first reply because it was certainly warranted. It was helpful in that it explained a method suggested by someone else, as well as answering the original question with detail that wouldn't need to be added later. It didn't simply involve telling them to search, though it included that, and why shouldn't it? Should everyone not bother to search?

As you can see, this subject as been covered many, many times before. If you tried to do a search and didn't find anything, it was probably because you spelled break wrong. Its b-r-e-a-k in this case, not b-r-a-k-e. Hope my links help you out.

As for me, I just use the Indy B-Spec endurance race and stop it after 100 laps, which takes roughly 1 1/2 hours. Or I just let it go overnight while I sleep. In my opinion, there is no right or wrong way, its just what ever way you prefer to do it.
