I’ve seen a lot of people saying this is a fun car to use for 700pp limited events, just wondering if there’s a preferred way to make 700pp requirement. Or is it just a case of using power restrictor?

This one are with RM ( Racing Medium Tires ) you also can use RH ( Racing Hard Tires ) and set more Power.

I’d look at Priano’s tunes he has Toms Supra in there. Copy that tune (he upgrades the turbo to bring it up to speed with GT500 cars) I have the setting exactly the same and use a power restrictor to bring it to 698.something it’s a blast to drive.

I’m beating all the world touring car 700 events.fuel economy 6 short shifting and a lot of engine braking, fill the tank to 45% at the end of lap 7 and play around between fuel Econ 5/6 depending on what I need. Usually run 5 to catch up to first place then slipstream in 6 to pass. Your straightline accel is slightly slower than some cars but you will dominate through turned bits.

Add ballast and power restrictor and then play around with the settings. That's what I did and it did the trick for me.
I’d avoid ballast on the gr3 supra. Unless you want to fiddle with suspension settings. Too much change with a ballast an really throw off the default tune (which isn’t great to begin with) making your driving experience more difficult than it needs to be.

I get what you are saying but from what I've experienced with the car, without both the ballast and power restrictor, that supra can't quite get tuned down to 700pp and be competitive.

I'm finding the pp really confusing.
Tuned the supra too 720pp .
Tuned the Ford GT LM car to 720pp
And the vantage V12 GT3 too 720pp ... all tuned to push there best ...

Time trail them and the Ford and vanatge are both a good 6+ seconds faster in the lap

A massive difference for cars ment to be the same pp

Interesting to see that my friend and 6 seconds is a lot, and what is the weight between them cars ?.

On the one hand it is because these PP really take everything into account and there are also differences in the vehicles so that they can master different routes better or worse.

I can e.g. be faster with my normal R34 with 700PP optimization on the Nordschleife than with my Tom's at 700PP. But the R34 is far more difficult to drive.
Now I could give the TOM'S more power and less downforce and make the chassis more unstable. This would allow the Supra to drive faster than the R34, but it would also be "more dangerous".
