Best wireless router for ps3

Hey people, I need to buy a new wireless router for my ps3. I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on good wireless routers for gaming. I need to connect my ps3 wirelessly as hardwiring is simply not an option for me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use an 8 year old Linksys WRT54G still, best router I ever bought and still haven't found any reason to upgrade.

I don't really think any one router will be significantly better than another as far as gaming on the PlayStation is concerned. As long as you get a router that is proven reliable you'll be fine. The PlayStation 3 doesn't support 802.11N anyway so you don't have to worry about that.

One thing that may help is setting up QOS on your router and giving the PlayStation higher priority.

Agreed, except I bought the WRT54GL to be able to put tomato on it. Both are highly recommended. 👍

I have DD-WRT running on mine.

Just to throw another option into the mix, I have a D-Link DIR-655, which I bought long before the PS-3 came to live at my house. It has shown itself to be almost bullet proof.
