Best/Worst You've Dealt With in GTA Online

Once in a while I'll find a mission or death match with some random people, and end up doing 5-6 missions or several matches in a row. Made 90 grand doing a bunch of missions with some randoms. Even failing 3 times on one, we never gave up. Then although there are more users online for PS4, it seems to be hard to get in a 'grudge match' in free mode lately, so I did a few good death matches in a row with some other random users.

This is the first day in months that I've touched GTAO and the first thing I wind watching is a crew war from one of the crews I'm in break out. I think I might need new friends because the crew drama gets old. That, or fly solo for a while.

When someone chases you around the city after knocking their door off or ramming their car. If you don't want anyone messing with you or your vehicle while you're apparently tending to IRL business...go to Passive mode lol

Does passive mode prevent ramming On next gen?

Console equality - we want some

Sadly, they're being consoleists against PS3 users. We should just pull a 'Murica and sue for console discrimination.

I haven't really been online in the past couple days because I've been trophy hunting in GTAV. I have to say that I've been way happier now offline than I have been online because being solo offline isn't a train wreck like it is when I play online (even with my friends).

i love gta. but hate online.everytime some nob kills me for no reason.its far from enjoyable and it all seems pretty pointless. il wait for dlc

I played bodyguard for a level 5, level 5 shot me in the back of the head while I was sniping at a level 307. The 307 killed him after he killed me, and I killed the level 5 until he ragequit.

Can't be as bad as me dressing up mercenary style, going around and getting shot at by some level 130, then have some level 18 follow me and since he's too close to me I accidentally rifle-whip him

level 18 sends me a message "bro I thought we were training"

Really bruh really?

And that is why you never do missions with randoms in the first place.
I learned that real quick when I just started playing GTAO. I watched a 14 keep dying over and over in a mission and watched a 100+ do well.

Got into a swear-off with a Frenchman in a mission. The one where you steal a trailer from The Lost in a factory, and drive it off to a pier (timed BTW) and then you have to defend against a couple waves.

Anyway, we made an arrangment that I would drive as I was pretty fast and knew the route and some short cuts.

After a couple failed attempts, it became a race to see who could plow through the NPCs defending the truck and trailer and get the truck.

I was trying to stay alive so I could drive as this guy was clueless and hopeless.

So I then blew up in his ear over the mic. Swearing at him trying to get him to listen (swearing and negotiations don't go together).

I caused him to rage quit, and succesfully did the mission myself.

GTA is a strange place.

I was just in a public lobby, deciding on a few cars to sell that I don't use anymore and could use the extra cash, and I get an invite from another player in the lobby to play Rooftop Rumble. I accepted, joined the lobby, everything ran normal. I pulled up at the parking lot, got out of my Comet, started shooting at the Professionals. Suddenly I was thrown in the air along with my Comet as the host of the room decided brakes were no longer a thing. I dismissed it as an accident, got back up and resumed my killing of the Professionals. Skip ahead a little, the host of the room is picking up the documents. I'm sat nearby in my Comet, waiting for him to drive back to Madrazo's house. He sits there for a while, and I sit there too, thinking he was just killing time to get more money out of the job. He suddenly sets off, ramming me, then as I get back on the road he rams me again. This is when I figured he had something against me. I shook it off and followed him to Madrazo's place.

All three of us in the lobby arrive, and the host sits there in his Zentorno and doesn't deliver the documents. I figure he's once again trying to kill time to get more money. He gets out of his Zentorno and flips the bird at me. I wave back. I walk over to my Comet and get in it, he hops back in his Zentorno and rams me until my Comet gets stuck in the corner of Madrazo's drive. I get out, throw a sticky bomb on his car, but leave it. He then proceeds to try and run me over for a good few minutes as I hop over the fence of Madrazo's drive to avoid him each time. Eventually I blow the sticky bomb up, resulting in me dying as I was too close and his Zentorno being blown up, but he survived.

This then turned into a full hour of him trying to kill me in various different ways instead of delivering the documents. The third player in the lobby got tired and left after about 45 minutes. The host tried slashing me with a hatchet, tried sniping my head off, everything. I jacked a Granger off the street and drove away, and he followed me, and spent a good five or ten minutes continuously ramming me until the Granger's engine started to smoke. He pushed me against a wall to a house, I quickly got out of the Granger as he reversed back to take another run at me, scaled the wall and hid in the backyard of the house. I found another wall to stand on where he couldn't reach me, and proceeded to watch him ram this wall for another good few minutes. He then wasted $8000 on an air strike which didn't get me, then spent another couple of minutes trying to ram me off the wall again. During this whole time he sent me various texts such as "I'm going to kill you" and accusing me of being a coward and such, to which I just replied with "k" or "nice" which angered him further.

Eventually, his last resort was to call in a Merryweather helicopter, shoot the pilot, get in the helicopter and use the helicopter blades to kill me. He then flew too close to a building and blew himself up, failing the mission. It was probably the biggest waste of my time but I refused to leave simply just to spite him.

I try to get the whole lobby to vote kick people that do that.

Amounts of hate mail may vary.

Forgot what the name was of the mission, but you had to steal two trailers from a parking lot in the right side of the citry, if your looking at the map. It was actually right next to my "South Shambles St." garage. Anyhow, as soon as you pulled both trucks out, the SUVs of mercinaries keep coming. Over and over and over again. Meanwhile nobody in the lobby knew how to drive a truck, so we ended up destroying a trailer both times we played it. I gave up after the second attempt, simply because I couldn't stand all the randoms.

I just get everyone to kick such timewasters.

I just get everyone to kick such timewasters.
Most of my kicks relate to idiots in lobbies moreso than idiots in missions because I only play missions with friends. Some guy threatened to kick a friend of mine out of a clan for defending a friend of ours, but he recanted on that threat after my friend threatened to ban half of his clan from the servers due to being underage as a method of retaliation.

With all the influx of returning players, it's really getting to me that people are going around killing randoms now.

Nonetheless got killed getting ammo, then killed the guy right back and then wants to 1v1 deathmatch me

sigh.

So I was at Ammunation by Del Perro getting ammo for my SMGs.

A guy walked in (Level 23) and bought some stuff.

I watched him and pretended to go and get armor or some clothing.

He didn't seem to care.

I slowly walked towards the door and he jogged up to it. Let him go first and sure enough red flag goes up:

He pulled out a rifle. Didn't wait to see what it was, but it was a rifle.

I immediately turned around, and waited for him to enter with the gun.

He did so, went too far into the store and his gun was immediately retracted

I walked out quickly and selected my Assault Shotgun.

Turned around and popped some rounds into him.

He falls dead on the floor. I got in my car all set to go, and as I'm about to drive away, I see his ugly Penumbra carelessly parked in the lot.

I got out, shot the tires, and set a sticky just in case.

I drove towards my house to start a heist, and sure enough, he was chasing me... er... attempting to.

I got to my garage and waited outside. Enlarged the minimap, and scanned. He's making his way over. I saw him struggling to stop the car at the intersection, at which point I blew his car up. He was in mid skid too.

Got some hate mail, which I ignored, but in hindsight I should've said something like, Hasta la Vista... baby.

Thought I'd jump back on GTAO after retiring the game due to grinding boredom. Heists seemed like a good thing to try. Alas...

I admit I haven't tried hosting my own heists yet but I think the idea is to get a bunch of randoms to join your game then proceed to shaft them by giving them 1% of the total payout. Oh, and if they seem to be doing a better job then you of driving - that's a rage quitting event right there.

Although, if the random player hasn't played that heist before and is not quite doing precisely what you want them to do, and when, then that's only a good enough reason to swear at them over the mic. The host was even asking me if I thought the random player was pulling his weight, which is funny as I was the random player.

GTAV has been put back on the shelf.

Tried a heist on my friend's game (he has more friends with PS3 GTA V) and I have to say... It didn't live up to the hype for me.

Ended up getting put in a lobby with randoms. Was the getaway driver, when a guy blew my car up. Repeatedly.
