Best/Worst You've Dealt With in GTA Online

Bad: Only one other friend was online tonight so we tried doing some heists with randoms. We're on the finale when this level 10 guys joins (I'm 97, friend is 99, other random was 30~) and demands that his cut be increased to 30%. I explain that as the heist leader I paid up front and didn't get paid for the setup missions. After some arguing and him saying he was "worth more", we eventually convince him to keep his 15% (default) and start. 5 minutes into the mission, he dies. No problem, we were on normal. 10 seconds later, he dies again and we all fail. Other random jokingly said "and you wanted 30% lol". He gets mad and quits.

Good: that other random was a pretty cool guy and finished the heist with us later.

Worst: I know, I set myself up for it, but oh well.
Do not play as a female character whenever around people of the immature kind. Bad idea, unless you're just going there for the lulz, still somewhat a bad idea, but oh well. So a common rule I have for myself when playing online games that allow you to have more than one character, is to make 1 guy, 1 girl, 1 guy, and repeat. So earlier this weekend, I decided to play as my female character. I was taken to a lobby of mostly ghetto sounding guys of wide range of assumed ages (8-30???), and lo and behold, the thirst got real.

I remember one of them sending me a message saying "ay bay b sho me yo stuff".

Best:
Starting from the very first heist (Fleeca Job), I was set up with a pretty chill dude who actively cooperated (both of us had absolutely no idea as to what we were to do, be we nailed the heists pretty damn well), and afterwards, we got more random people for the following jobs and, fortunately, were chill and cooperative as well!

Prison Finale, I was the prison guard. All went well, we just landed in the beach. Only thing we need was the Buzzard to pick us up. All of us were near the cliff so the pilot had plenty of room to land. I pan behind me to see the helicopter sink into the sea....Fail.

Restart, we're almost out of the prison and the prisoner dies. Host decides to quit and I'm out a hundred grand.

EDIT: wow he dive bombed wtf

The good- stealing some scrub's tank, flaunting him in Passive mode as he tried to bombard his own vehicle with RPG's, then chased him with his own tank until he left the session.

EDIT: This was during the same failed heist, wtf was that

People chasing you for a $1k bounty and you job hop every time you get close to being killed

Also clans with modders trying to kill you is 10/10 when you job hop as well.

Playing Prison Heist finale again. First police were alerted early on, no idea what that was about. Then the prison officer died. Now, they made it out and I try land on the road. Bad idea a cop barreled in and blew up the Velum...my fault. Last run I get too close to the jet and get a stray missile shot.

Now the engine is blowing smoke. The prison officer and inmate make it out again. I was heading for the runway and the engine quits. I was mere feet to the ground and the engine restarts and I land on the runway. The inmate and professor safely make it to the plane safely... But then the officer RUNS INTO THE PROP!!! Inmate leaves, no restart.

You wouldn't have been able to complete the mission anyway. I've been in that situation where I accidentally got hit by a missile, and I was able to fly around for quite a long time, but once I had landed it was impossible to take off again since I couldn't go fast enough to get off the ground.

When you do the Flecca Bank job heist, go through the setup as the driller, then get switched to the driver and the guy can't hack/drill and inevitably leave because he takes so long

Sigh low level players sometimes...

It depends because one time I also took a missile hit but was able to complete the heist even with the engine sputtering on me.

I'll be honest I kind of suck at the hacking part too. Why couldn't it be the same as all the other hacking "games" that we do?

The hacking is hard, that part is true. But after seeing how the guy drives (he hit anything that came into his tunnel vision) it wasn't surprising it took so long for him to hack + drill which virtually put me to sleep (I was playing at midnight I couldn't help it )

But I assure you his hack took at least 15 minutes, that's waaayyy too long.

Had a fun moment a few days ago. Ended up in a death spiral with two other fighter jets when someone else joins from the side in a Savage. The Savage starts firing missiles at everyone, I blew up one of the jets, the Savage explodes the other jet and damages mine before I fly straight up in the air and rain on him with cannon fire on the way down. Winner!

10/10 would do again

So, me and Noshan (member of a crew I'm in, friends with him as well) were helping each other with our daily objectives. He needed a capture: raid and I needed a contend. We do his first.

Guns on his side: Assault rifle, shotgun, Uzi, extra pistol.

My side? Pistol and Uzi.

He wins, obviously, and we do mine.

He gets a shotgun, a sniper, an Uzi, and a pistol.

I get a pistol, and an uzi.

🤬 you too, rockstar.

Awesome: Made some friends in missions, actually they were good randoms in missions (I play PS3). Got 300,000 with randoms might as well be a good day for me then.

The Bad: Today, I'm in the lobby right now. One guy who I thought was cool ever since I did the missions with awesome people but today there is this one scumbag that thinks he's the ultimate player on GTA. To be honest it's hard to make friends in Online Lobbies in Free mode. Man these people....

Well unfortunately I had to jack a car and got a 3k bounty, no biggie at all. Then I was out in the country and some clan with a Hydra and two dudes in a Kuruma roll up and get my bounty.

Then I respawn and decide hell may as well shoot the Hydra down
>pull out homing launcher
>le boom

Got my bike and ran off back into the city while they tried to chase me :D

Then a few minutes later they all decide to get their Insurgents delivered from Pegasus, and they drive off into the country. I grab an annihilator and get a sneak peak to see if their personal vehicles are still there.

I hit the motherlode, all three armoured Kurumas sitting there in the middle of the road.
Time for a little bit of payback :mischievous:

Called Pegasus, got my cargobob spawned and proceeded to hook up and drop all of their cars into the water without paying any cash for insurance

Hope that 3k bounty was worth it because they're about 12k short on cash now

Thought I would play a little GTA online this morning on the PC, and came across this hacker. Definetly had exploding bullets and god mode. And I think they also had some sort of invisibility mode, as their character was also stood in the same spot; but killing people a few streets over as well as myself. Audio is muted for first half of the video, due to me forgetting to turn off music while recording. The second half of the video has audio however.

Hacks and mods appear quickly in pretty much every game.

Thats true enough, but what is worse though. Is the fact that it doesn't appear that Rockstar have added any anti cheat solutions at all. At the very least they could have used Punkbuster, or released solely through steam and used Vac. Anti cheat solutions are not perfect, but the cheating in GTA online is already beginning to become an issue. Myself and my friends are already relegated to invite only sessions for the sake of actually been able to play the damn thing.

That moment you turned off GTA V....and realized you didn't upload photos to the Social Club :irked:

So I was flying my Bestra, and outflew two others in their fighter jets in downtown LS. Come on learn to fly between the skyscrapers without crashing! I then decided to buzz an Insurgent for fun. That must have pissed them off, maybe they thought I was going to destroy their vehicle with an unarmed jet or something. So...ensues a 2 vs. me battle with their taunts on the mic....I had the chat set to Crew + Friends. How did that happen?

Also JohnStarks18 I think. Why are you shooting at and killing crew members?

Yeah, the voice chat option in the Interaction Menu barely works. If it hasn't been fixed yet, it never will.

So I turn on the PS4, load up GTA V and go Online. No sooner, I get shot out of my Jester at Sandy Shores. What then followed was a rampage against a level 31 and his level 8 friend. I attacked them as many ways as possible. Snipers, Sticky bombs. I showered them with the Hydra. Brought out the tank even. Just to show them how I can kill them, I called for my Buzzard and blew them up with rockets until they left the session. I hope that'll teach them not to fire on unsuspecting foes.

The good: Recorded another video for YT

The bad: Was cruising in Grove Street in my Schwarcher when a Savage starts trying to blow me up. I ducked down alleyways, dodged traffic (Most of which got blew up) and ran for it until my friend blew up the Savage with a Hydra.

Just joined. Entered the race with Lamar, and another newcomer joined in. After the race, he spent better part of forty minutes trying to kill me at every opportunity - even when we were supposed to be working together.

At the very least, you know what to expect from now on.

Welcome to GTA Online!

It probably doesn't help that my character looks like the son of the Latino John Travolta and a Russian prostitute.

Or that I gave him a Stupid White Person Name, "Rigby".

Or that my first car is a matte black Declasse Sabre Turbo, which looks like a Knight Rider reject.

Is it possible to skip the tutorial at all? Most people want to play with their friends first, not be forced to play with bloodthirsty idiots through missions that are the same as every other mission online.

Welcome to Online!
• Shoot the thugs.
• Steal the drugs.
• Deal with game-breaking bugs.
• Play with idiots whose parents never gave them hugs.
