i suspect that it's much less if you are in a lobby without crew members, then you are probably connected to a server geographically closer to you

Actually there is a very slim chance of that rank 1350 being legit. I've read on GTAForums that there are a few legit 1300's at this point, but probably like 5 or less.

I don't even know why this guy sent me this. I was in Sandy Shores playing around with my Hakuchou (sp?) and he was on a yacht at Vespucci Beach...

But i thought that GTA was about Guns, Vehicles, Open World and beating down hookers at the end of...uh nevermind(:p), not just deathmatches with everyone insulting each other for just playing a video game...:boggled:

Perks of being a level 337 player, apparently. And this is the sort of player that would say... follow me into a parking lot and get "randomly blasted by a mine".

Also, I didn't save a pic, but I got a text message of a guy assuming I'm a hacker and can give money. I haven't seen a hacker in days, honest!
 
Some dillhole vip and his henchmen destroyed my Valor when I was in the Ammunation, probably because I didn't respond to his invites and texts. Needless to say this atrocious deed wasn't without consequences.

I kept following them, they started an executive search, I killed the vip in about 2 minutes and after that I just kept on killing them, destroying their Buzzards, until they left.

Suckers. Ha.

337 honestly isn't that high of a rank to be considered illegitimate. That is, by anyone who has half a brain...

Playing one of those "Runners vs Zentornos" last team standing. The last guy on my team does not kill the final opponent when he has all the time in the world to do so, basically wasting time on purpose. Somehow we win the round anyway, but goddamn, these deliberately useless idiots need to go extinct or something.
 
And of course as soon as I have a crewmember as a bodyguard I time out during an executive search.

You know what's fun? Not those useless car chases you get from trigger happy people.

I was on my way to the airport to do a little Hostile Takeover when someone decided that it's fun if my Turismo R would double as my coffin.

But I made it hard for him. Instead of letting him chase me on the roads, I called up the Buzzard and entered the runway. I even saw him crash the chain fence and saw his car: a Futo from traffic.

The time that he took to get in was the time I set up my headphone's microphone, and when he finally got in, I got the mike on the Benny Hill theme song playing in loop via my phone.

So, I got on the runway and pretended I was the bus in Speed.

After 10 long minutes of this..

It was then I decided to end this charade and drive by the obstacles that a Futo would never go around smoothly.

The time he took to recover from those many blunders was the time I set up another trick.

My Turismo parked behind Devin's hangar. When he came, he fell for one of my good old fashioned "You appear to have trodden on a mine!"

*BOOM*

For my final performance: since I was the VIP of "Homer Simpson", I got out a video of Nelson's signature "Ha ha", and got it running for everyone else in the lobby to hear.

And THEN I did me some Hostile Takeover, dear me.. :sick:

Joined a Pacific Standard set up....pic posted here. That went quite well even after crashing on the scooter a few times. Up next was Signal. That was something else. First this group disembarked to an unknown location... to only me. I was 1/2 way to the island and this group decided to find a helicopter at a police station. However somehow one of them died, probably by the pilot shredding him I guess.

Restart 1. They successfully collected a copter and flew out to collect Avery. We got in the police boat and head out to the Alamo sea. Somehow as I was seated in the rear of the boat when we went up the rapids, the boat kicked up and smashed me into the bridge and I died. Restart 2, I figured I'll jump out as we went through Raton Canyon, and picked up a car. As I drove out towards Grapeseed, my team apparently ran into some heavy police reinforcements and one of them died when they reached shore.

Restart 3. After collecting a BF Injection in Raton Canyon, I was about 1/2 way to Grapeseed and tried to take a shortcut over a hill....and landed right on the engine. Boom car exploded. Sonuva....anyway FINALLY we completed this infernal set up, but it was late and one of the crew left for the night.
 
After completing a Dead Man Drop out at the Diner down the road from the military base, I noticed on the way back to LS that a lone VIP was heading towards me ( probably ticked off that I got the case before he could.) in a Buzzard, I got out of my Recently bought and built Roosevelt Valor and scared him off with a few well placed sniper rounds.

He ended up in Fort Zancudo and grabbed a Lazer and proceeded to total my Valor, I replied in correct fashion, more sniper shots and a rocket or two. ;)

Eventually he ends up crashing and we're both now near the tunnel under Zancudo and it was now a sniper duel, odds were really in my favour now. :cool:

After he ate a few deaths, I decided to let by gones be by gones and headed back to LS assuming he would do the same.


'Bang!!' 🤬

Nope! he grabbed another Lazer and wrecked my Valor again. :ouch: ( OK lesson learned :p)

So I decided that two can play that game and went for my own Lazer and that's when things got interesting.

I jumped into the base expecting an armed response, instead it was a ghost town, no soldiers, no jeeps, no tanks and no wanted level. :bowdown:

I didn't even call lester for this thing to happen. :odd:

Anyways, got the jet, chased him back to LS where he was picking on someone else and we both end up crashing at LS Airport.

This story ends in a shootout at the Airport entrance with me holding his attempts to kill me at bay.

He left a short while later.

He was out 25k for wrecking my Valor twice, copped quite a few more deaths than kills against me and he lost about an hours worth of VIP time.

All over a Dead Man Drop worth 20k. :rolleyes:

Also something from a while back that involved me, my armoured Karuma, an unlucky AI driver in a Regina and a steel billboard column.

I was driving back to LS on the Freeway coastal road ( Palomino Freeway if I recall) and to entertain myself, used my Karuma to tag the fast AI traffic and cause them to spin out.

One was the previously mentioned Regina which after being hit on the front right, started to spin out and head off the road.

Whilst trying to recover, it clipped something which caused it to start turning over and it got about 1/4 way through the roll when it slammed into the steel billboard column roof first and exploded.

It caught me by surprise because I didn't count on it blowing up and just said, Holy 🤬, that was surprisingly effective. :eek:

Still don't believe it happened till this day. :lol:
 
So, typical King Of The Castle at the Galileo Observatory power generators.

I fare well and managed to get 180 points before dying to two others that refuse to co-operate. Then, a third (who, believe it or not was chasing my Blackfin with his Verlierer for a good time) came with a Hy-


Actually, let's head back to when that Verlierer guy was chasing me.


One lovely morning, and I've kitted my Coquette Blackfin for a nice morning drive. Oddly enough, I see this blip heading for me for whatever reason. Knowing how other players chasing is kind of a big deal for me, I head to Mirror Park to just see how good he is in whatever car he had at the time.

I took a few rotations in one sector, and I swear: his blip is crazy, either catching up to suddenly stop, or even trying to outsmart the guy that's outsmarting him.

Then: King Of The Castle popped up.

"Okay", I said, and so I decide to leave him in the dust. Assuming he was in an Armored Kuruma, I took to the high road and went to the highway north.

But I was kind of wrong. In what way?

Well, he's fast. By the time I reached Sandy Shores, the car nearly caught up, but no bullet holes yet.

I ramped up.. and so did he!
I ramped down.. and so did he!
I jumped to the tracks.. and so did he!
I entered the tunnels.. and so did he!
I passed by an aggressive duo that nearly killed me in the town.. and so did he..

..but DED.

And I had a nice drive to the observatory. There was another player that arrived about 5 seconds earlier, but he met his untimely doom by glorious RPG. Nice of him to carry a bounty, by the way.



Back to the present time. So, the guy who was chasing me had his Hydra and was bombarding the area.

He sucked. All he did was just carpet the wrong areas. He didn't land a single kill until..

I went up the Observatory to defend the castle from above. And when he went for his next run..

*BANG*
DED.

My obvious reaction.
 
Had a nice moment with this gentleman yesterday.

First he sent me this. I honestly don't know what it's supposed to mean.

I didn't respond as I was afk, to which he responded by putting a 9k bounty on me the second I get back to the game. I was on my yacht so I just had superstreet556, who was in the same lobby as me, come and kill me and give me the bounty.

Edit: I see that in the picture above I sent a response, but I can't remember what it was. I'm thinking it was something like "Thanks for the $9k!"

Then he sent me this. (the yellow part is a censor in case you can't tell)

I just responded with something along the lines of "No, I'm not mad because I killed you multiple times and you gave me $9k."

He was sending superstreet the same messages too. He was trying to lure us to him because he was using the wall breach glitch next to the LSC in La Mesa.
 
Yesterday I had a drop-off mission. I grab the briefcase, people try to kill me (fine-that parts normal), and I successfully deliver the briefcase. Then one of the 🤬 that killed me once during the delivery starts following me all through out the map. I got out of my car and killed him on 4 separate occasions (as he is following me EVERYWHERE) and then decides to call mercenaries on me AND then set a bounty on me:banghead:

Similar story to me, only the killings started after I dropped off the case. :)

The other big difference is my petty, angry rival didn't call for mercenaries or a bounty, he just kept going for a Lazer every time after our sniper duel ended. :crazy:

Funny you mention the Lazer, because this guy first tried to kill me from his but I took him out with my rifle and his precious jet crashed to the ground in a burst of fire...

...Maybe that's why he hunted me down after the event 💡:lol:
 
I've decided to name my Hydra "The Equalizer" because when the odds are against me I will unleash so much overkill on randoms that it was the only fitting name.

I love my Hydra. I wish it had one of those troll faces on it so after I kill someone they get a nice cutaway of the troll face. Maybe give it one of those sad trombone sounds too.....and a thumbs up salute.....and it immediately sends them a text that says "MEGA LOLZ".

I love my Hydra. I wish it had one of those troll faces on it so after I kill someone they get a nice cutaway of the troll face. Maybe give it one of those sad trombone sounds too.....and a thumbs up salute.....and it immediately sends them a text that says "MEGA LOLZ".

I've seen you with the Hydra. You're really good with it. Yesterday while I was messing with the guy in the pictures I posted earlier, I had the chat set to everyone so I could hear him and his friends and they kept going "Oh oh oh oh 🤬 here come dat jet yo" and other things similar to that.
 
A friend dropping my Zentorno with a Cargo-bob into the water right after buying it. Not only this, but I was to pay for the repair as I had no money.
 
Lately I've been playing deathmatches with friends. I did my RPG deathmatch and also did my pump shotgun deathmatch. The first time I did them, I played with 2 normal (non modding) friends and a modder (mods off), and the second time I did them, I did them with 2 modders and a non modder. The worst place I finished during all 4 deathmatches (each twice) was second. I'll take that.

Hehe, yeah I kept killing them because they were using the passive glitch to go around the map killing people in the Valkyrie. No one could lock on to them with an RPG which annoys me to be honest.

As soon as they landed I took vengeance for the whole lobby. I know the Hydra is an easy killer but I have to make up for my awful on foot gun skills. I always feel bad for using it but someone has to even the odds against these Griefers.

On another note i was doing Executive Search earlier and as soon as it ended I banked the cash and instantly another "You have started executive search" popped up and I done it again with no wait in between.
