Beta letter not working

I've noticed today that in quotes my Beta "B" is coming up as a question mark. I've never had problems with it before as it showed up correctly on earlier quotes. Sage also claims that the beta letter won't work through PMs.

I've tried setting the default encoding that my browser uses to match the ISO-8859-1 encoding that this site uses, and still no go. It seems to get lost on the way to the server (it shows up fine in the Name field when sending a PM).

I did notice this phenomenon in a post where neon_duke quoted "?lackbird."

I've only ever seen it quoted as ?lackbird and that was from neon_duke. It seems to work fine everwhere else. Klos, did you use quick reply or press reply w/quote. If you did it in Fast reply that may be the answer because posting in fast reply is a different process to using the reply w/quote button, that could hold the answer.

I've never had any problem. I use it in the San Andreas Record Book and there's no problem there either.

Strange indeed...I suspect the method that the message was quoted has everything to do with it. The style that neon_duke uses could also be a factor. If you're reading this, neon, how do you usually quote Blackbird?

Maybe it's just a problem on duke's end. I'd say your computer may be having trouble with this BETA letter, most likely more of the letters, if this is the case.

But then again, it should be sending to other people's Computers who aren't having troubles. So it is strange.
