Rally physics in GT5/GT6 are not exactly great, now are they? So I believe that's one of the main reasons why people stay away or can't quite get into it.
At least... that's my excuse

I've noticed that both in GT5 and GT6 Rally racing is not very popular, there isn't even a thread for it, like the drag, and drifting community. Is this because there aren't too many WRC cars or is it the lack of rally tracks. Why is this? I'd really like to know!
There are a couple of threads which say pretty much the same as this one, but they sank way down the list some time ago.

During an interview at Goodwood, Kazunori-san did seem to imply that the Goodwood Rally stage might get included and as has been mentioned, there is the hope for Pike's Peak too...finger crossed.

There's too few dirt tracks

bring me back my Tahiti!
I could write all the rally tracks that appeared on GT, but the mixed tahiti circuit is the one I miss the most

Reading this tread reassures me, because at least now i feel like i am not the only one thinking how unrealistic the GT6 rallying physics is...

You cant turn, thers is no traction and too much plumes... the only traction you get is when the car is going straight...
Physics need to be fixed.

Until then, rallying in GT is still a travesty, just like F1...
I love GT, Kaz and PD, but they need to do more for the next installment.

Sadly i dont think i will buy GT7 since the Ps4 is not in my planning for at least 2 or 3 years, make it 5 to be on the safe side.

Having a baby girl will burn all my time.

But for you guys, i hope PD fixes all this mess.

yeah rally was the thing that had me super excited for GT5 but the game disappointed. not in the physics just the lack of rally focused content.
