Underneath the Mulholland Junction (on the south side of the junction) there's an off track betting place.

Trick is to save at Catalinas, go to the inside track, bet all your money on the 12:1 longshot. If you win, save and repeat, if you lose, reload and try again.

Of all the horse betting I did, I did about half in each of the places. I seemed to have a lot more luck in Montgomery... anybody else had their betting like that?

That's just chance, though. But it's still much easier saving or reloading and then travelling to the one in Montgomery.

I just saved at Four Dragons' Casino and kept doing Blackjack and betting on 3-to-1 on Roulette. My money went up quick, but it's much easier gambling in Montgomery. I didn't do it there, though, as I was doing other things around Las Venturas.
