Worked, got $1.6 million. Bought all the safehouses in the country and Los Santos. Now moving on to Fierro, the desert, and Las Venturas casinos/houses.

I don't understand the roulette much, can somebody explain?

I understand the Red and black case, the number case, but the 1st 12, ODD, EVEN, 3 to 1.

What is all this?

If you put money on ODD, then you're betting on an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 etc.) Same with EVEN.

The 3-1 option means your betting on a number in one of the 2 columns above the 3-1 square.

You can also bet on 1st 12 (1-12), 2nd 12(13-24) or 3rd 12 (25-36).

You can bet on a particular number (1 in 36 odds), or you can put your money between 2 numbers on the roulette board, which means you're betting on either number (1 in 18 odds) or you can even put money on the corner of 4 different numbers in which case you're betting on either of them coming up (1 in 9 odds).

So what's the best strategy if you're playing on a 100,000$ table?
If you're gambling skill is high enough, you can gamble at the $1,000,000 table.

I've yet to try it, but I reckon you should save outside Woozie's, go inside and plonk as much as you can one number. Keep reloading until you win. It should get you $36,000,000 eventually.

Roulette's nothing but random luck. There's no real strategy to it. It's not like Blackjack where there's a bit of tactical gambling to it. Even with the Video Poker you can make an educated guess as to what cards you should keep.

But your LUCK stat might make the odds favour you in the long run. I haven't done that much gambling so I'm not really sure.

i won 36,000,000 yesterday on roulette? i think it's roulette. well anyway, i kept bidding 1 million on red 21, because i wanted to lose money so those guys would chase me, and on the 5th time the white ball stopped on red 21. i was so pissed, after all that of losing money, i won it back and more, so i cant be bothered trying to run away from the casino thugs.... ill just live the high life :D

lol, i would think the fastest way to lose money would be blackjack.. since you dont have to enter your bet each time and its a quick game

I got myself in debt with the casino thugs, they're really stupid, I had no weapons and I beat off a car full, and then got killed by a randomly exploding car.

What happens when youre in the red regarding money?

Do the casino chases you and kill you? You can't buy anything I know that but is there anything else that happens?

I heard from a site, forgot which, that if that does happen, you receive phone calls from "the mob" telling you you need to pay up. If you don't a car full of mobsters chases you down. It sounds possible, but i doubt it. I'm sure they just kick you out of the casino.

BTW, used my money to buy all the San Andreas safe houses. Took me about 3 hours (had to drive mostly, just felt like pumping up my bike and driving skills) and $700,000. Now to start the Airstrip missions...i hate them already. Except for The Black Project, can't wait for that. :D

It's true! I was goofing around in the casino and ended up with -$1M. Over the next ten minutes I got two warning calls, then a bunch of goons in a black Vincent came tearing into a parking lot when I was getting into my car and tried to jump me.

Yes, it's true. Blake recently was messing around in the Casino on my save game and got me -$1 million in debt. They are easy to fend off, though. You also can stop them from coming by not entering Las Venturas, and if you do go into Las Venturas, stay in your car. You will get calls when out of your car, and they will only come after you when you are out of your car I believe. You have a chance to make the money back outside of Las Venturas, and you won't be hassled.

There's not many great ways of making money thought, just have to pick up money from assets...

Nope, I tried this for fun too (it's surprisingly hard to lose all your money - even playing to lose at Blackjack) and they will come after you even if you are in a car. Think you have to be near the casino though - don't think they come after you in the whole of LV. Slightly annoying is the fact that if they get out of the car they never get back in to follow you. They get back in when you drive off but just sit in the car... Would have been much more fun to be chased around the city.

are they hard to fend off?? and if you fend off the first wave what happens then?

*2000th post :D*

I'm pretty sure they continually come back, although after the first time they come, I made Blake load up to let me have a turn. They aren't really hard, but they have Uzis which tend to hurt. Make sure as soon as you are in debt, go buy a gun if you don't already have one. Although, I think Blake said he fended off some without a gun.

Congrats on the 2000th post. That came quickly (from the time you came back here).

OOOOWEEEEEEE! :D

After fourhoundredandsixtyseven tries at the Horse-betting i finally won on a 12-1 longshot! Wagering a staggering $1.000.000, I now got enough cash to buy the whole state, whahahahaha! Money talks! :)
