Biggest rip-off in GT Auto?

At least paying for a wing does something for performance. I think the biggest ripoff in the GT Auto section is the car wash, those guys do a horrible job!

Exactly! Instead of washing my ram they washed below it! When washing my FGT they wash above it! When I wash my kart nobody even walks out to it :(

And it costs like 50 Credits, where in real life only costs around 20-30 👎

I took a look at the glitch, and yes, it does exist. When I selected "Install Aero Kits" it didn't prompted me that you "can't install aero kits on this car". Instead, it had 3 generic spoilers. But they didn't have any physical existence when you preview it, and costs 200k for each one. I tested it on the Judd and think It's the same as the Audi. I didn't actually bought it though, as I doubt it had any aerodynamic impact. Did the same on the NSX LM Race Car and it actually physically exist, unlike the LMPs.

It depends on the place. Most automated car washes costs around $15. I think car washes with chicks costs a lot more, lol. Might as well replace the present car wash in GT5 with chicks, instead lol.

McLaren F1 body kit. It cost's 180,00 cR and only provides adjustable rear downforce. The worst part is, tuning the oversteer out with downforce and an LSD will cause the front to understeer, and you can't do any of that.

The good part though is that it makes it look like a McLaren F1 GTR.

I'd like some proof, because i've never noticed this. Do they change anything to the model? Or do they add downforce?

They really do exist. But they don't actually have a "physical" one, yet they sell you one for 200k each. And I highly doubt it impacts aerodynamics, as it's accidental, not intentional.

If you notice both cars are sponsored by playstation and gt4. I think that has something to do with it. :sly:

But seriously, Cr50 for something unnoticable which would be easier done with a drive in the rain.
 
Car wash by far, 50 Cr, are you serious? I can buy a new game for that ammount of money. :lol:

Many cars produce lift. Zero downforce could actually be an improvement. On a car like the Gullwing, it's almost certainly an upgrade.

Still, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to get better than zero lift on the front end.

No it doesn't. Adding a rear spoiler does nothing for the front downforce.

What actually provides the minimal front down force is either the front bumper kit, or the carbon fibre vane things you can add to the side of the front bumper. Its not adjustable, but it does give a micro increase in down force.
 
I think the Cerbera speed 12 also has fully adjustable front downforce. It affects cornering...Well, im not the best driver or tuner but it didnt do much.

You already need a oil change, wash, Engine Overhaul, and chassis maintenance. Really PD? I'm not going to pay 1,000,000+ for taking my Veyron for a spin then needing to replace everything. Either this could be a glitch or they ment to do that.
 
Aero-kits for many cars seem like a rip-off to me. I hardly notice the downforce benefits and the tune up costs a fortune. I only do it if it significantly improves the look of the car and I have a lot of money. Doesn't look great on some cars though. Like, I thought about adding a rear spoiler to my SLS AMG, but it just ruined the sleek, low aerodynamic look of it. Why bother?

Because PD owns that garage, a portion of what you pay goes directly into Kaz's account. :p

The Veyron is HIGHLY OVERRATED anyway. It handles like a tank with 1000hp. The Ferrari 599 handles better and goes almost as fast when fully tuned. The Veyron looks great, even if it is understeering into a wall.
 
Just yesterday I found myself wishing the cars actually got dirty. Would give car wash a freaking point.. :( Although I do find myself washing the used cars I buy, somehow it seems fitting to wash them while I'm there changing the oil :D
