Virtual Drift Circuit Season 3, Round 1 - Teaser


Ladies & gentlemen, after weeks of some graft and sleepless nights I have 2 very special announcements to make right now.

The first being, THE SITE IS BACK!!! That's right, the BkS Media website, is back and better than ever. You'll find a post in there containing the reasons why it was down for so long. I want BkS Media to be recognized as not only just a "brand" but rather a network for where technology meets the real and virtual worlds. Check it out, I'm sure it won't disappoint!

The second announcement? The Virtual Drift Circuit S3 Round 1 Teaser is finished! Sorry for the screwed up size, but it's not my fault. YouTube is to blame. They've changed their settings once again and it's a PITA. I'll have it fixed for the full video which is due out on the 7th of this month.

So here it is, VDC Round 1. Some of the footage is pretty choppy, apologies for that, it's just my laptop went full retard when rendering. With this video I really didn't want to go OTT, so it's really just simple cuts, and fades with some colour correction. It's also a test bed for my new settings. I did mess up at around 1:29, where I should've keyframed the lens flare to stay off. Also, ignore the green-bar you see to the right. I have no idea what happened, but I must've moved the footage when I was in AE, and not realised until after rendering and shutting down AE. But hey, I'm only human! We all make mistakes. I haven't had the best of luck this week with YouTube, so I promise Round 2's video will be hell of a lot better!

Hopefully this portrays a fun view of VDC, despite all the hassle there was, in qualifying.

There's a few clips that show the cars glitching, I can't do anything about that, it was just my connection to them, I haven't got the greatest of connections.

Again, hope this is worth the time it took, I lost sleep over this video. Thanks to everyone who made it an event worth doing, and capturing.

So here's the next set, I love this car. So fun to drift and just bash about. It's rather the poser too. Very simple in terms of design. Photos are mainly B&W as simplicity goes hand in hand right? Or maybe it's just because I love B&W photography too much.
