It's literally in the video title and description:

And please don't use "esoteric" characters excessively in thread titles. It plays havoc with screen-readers.

Okay fine - I will actually change title.

I was more - Jokingly trying to start a discussion about...
What IS that thing!?!?!

And it's a PITY that the guy kept it in "Driver-Seat View" (or whatever),
I'd love to see what the body is doing...

If this car is "Real" - It must have some sort of "Adaptive suspension system" (<--- I'm makin stuff up here...)
But it looks like it's "Floating" above the track...

I'm guessing he / she must've tuned the vehicle somewhat 'cause I only reach about 595km/h, over 30km/h less.

I've had a few gos using the car completely-stock and had no problem doing a 3:34. I'm tippin' that with a bit of effort a 3:20 isn't out-of-the-question for me in the stock vehicle.

The biggest challenge for me was avoiding becoming airborne, which of course necessitates intentionally slowing down for certain sections. I assume that'd be easy to tune-out but I enjoy the challenges of avoiding tuning.

I remember watching Rory have a go. IIRC he did roughly a 4:15.

Mr. "Monkey Man"...

yeah you said it.... (I was going to "Ask if you had said it"... But... I'm abandoning all "Conversational segues" - [for now]

STOCK is doing that!?!?

Man...
I remember seeing someone *ahem - Post a time "Sub 5`00.00" (Probably in 2006 or sumthing - Regular... "Non-gravity-powered car" etc) and thinking: "That is an impossible time - The guy must be hitting walls etc"

But it sounds like...
Going Sub 4 minute is an "every-day thing" now?

And what is this \/ - The helmet for the Ship? Is the cabin pressurized XD

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
********* For some reason I feel compelled to give my life story - here goes ******
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I FORGOT about this game (or this SERIES rather) for.... Wow... 20 years...
Had GT4 in 2004 - PS2 - Loved it etc...

And then I lost the PS2 somehow (I have lost MANY systems over the years - I forgot how I lost/broke tha PS2)
Let's assume an"ex-girlfriend smashed it."

Anyway - I don't just "live without a gaming system"... I recovered and upgraded to PS3!
And played Skyrim etc for DECADES... And FORGOT about this series basically - And got back into
when I found out they found CHEATS for GT4 after 20 years or sumthin...

So I'm back into GT4 playin with all the toys I could never get because... I just ain't legitimately gettin the "A-License" dude XD

While I was away from Gran Turismo, I got better at PHYSICS - Much better.
I took a rather long "diversion" into a game called "Kerbal Space Program" A:
"Space Flight Simulator with 'Accurate Enough' physics." (The game does "Real Newtonian Orbital Mechanics" but in...
"Highschool Physics Mode" - Air resistance... While modeled - Ain't... "Real"... [No "Turbulance" etc].)

Lemme hop oughtta that parenthesis.
Kerbal Space Program has good physics, and PROBABLY has about the same level of "Data" that they actually used
TO LAND ON THE MOON. (The moon landing guys PROBABLY knew their velocity & speed etc to "2 decimal points"
It's a MIRACLE they did what they did... And they were able to do it because the PILOTS on those missions "HAND-FLEW"
a lotta the maneuvers.

If the data coming out of Kerbal Space program was fed into the Saturn 5 Rocket (and moon lander) - It could be used to land on the real moon (and the data coming out of Kerbal is PROBABLY more... "Intense" or... "Information-Packed" than the
"Punch-Card-Read-Outs" that Armstrong and Co were using.

But again - Kerbals Solar system is 1/10th the size of ours... gravity falls (on earth) EXACTLY at 9.8m/sec...
General Relativity is not modeled (as are several other "orbiting things" not modeled correctly - You can not encounter the REAL "Three Body Problem" in Kerbal)

I say all that because...
I left Gran Turismo... Then Spent a decade playing ANOTHER game where it's "thing"... Is having "Accurate Physics"...

So when I came back...
I'm like:

"Oh god I LOVE GRAN TURISMO - AND I FORGOT ABOUT IT!!!"

(And it's physics.... Are MUCH... more accurate than Kerbals! - [But the "scale of the environment" and uhhhh.... "Lack of an ENTIRE DIMENSON" - {Ummm... We're stuck lon the ground - most of the time - In Gran Turismo - It's a "3-D game played on a 2-D Plane"}.] .... )

I'm not hating on Kerbal's physics...
But if Kerbal Modeled their space shps as accurately as Gran Turismo Models their cars & dynamics...
Nasa could use kerbal to land on MARS.. Truly. (They PROBABLY could NOW - But... It'd be like.... A 60/40% chance the ship blows up...)

----------------------- End life story ------------------
----------------- (Or the part of it I'm recanting here) - Im not dead yet ---------------

That is why...
I'm gonna have a "lotta catching up to do" (having COMPLETELY MISSED GT6 - And having not played 7 either...

So I find the "Super-Concept-Car Made exclusively for the game utilizing not-yet implemented in real life technology"...

Novel.

And I wanna fake-drive one... So now I gotta increase my timeline on getting a PS5 and GT7.

Oh... I forgot the part in my life story where I say I always like the "Most busted things in games" - (Strongest sword in Final Fantasy - Arceus In Poke'mon - Forbidden Yu-Gi-Oh! decks etc)

This Car is BUSTED - Should be banned - and I gotta try one.

FWIMBW the car is available in 3 flavours.

A sub-1000bhp (I think), a roughly-1500bhp and the 2600bhp version used here.

Might be worth buying them all and working your way up, so to speak.
