I just watched that 6 minute video and it doesnt look bad at all. Again the ai is pathetic but there is a lot going on and tons of action. I think it will be a pretty fun game. I like these fast, action- paced kind of games better than the slow sneaking around FPS games. 👍
Probably sounds great in surround sound. :dopey:

no i went to GAME CRAZY (where i buy all my games) and they gave me the demo for pre-ordering the game :)

 
No, man. Brazil has no PS2 representation, only import stores have console games. :indiff:

But that's okay, I can wait one more month to play it. :)

If you look in the upper right of the videos. There is a + gauge which is his health. I am pretty sure he gets to carry 3 packages and use them when his health gets low. If you look closely he goes thru all 3 of the packs quite quickly then after they run out he dies.
 
I actually saw it at game stop today and I wasn't really impressed... it was nothing like the vids above at least. :indiff:

After online play with FEAR other FPS games are gonna have a hard time beating it and my PC.
 
The game looks amazing. If only it had online...The awesomeness would be so much higher....
 
Graphics are awesome on the PS2, it looks as good as an Xbox game easily, and thats the first time Ive ever said that about a PS2 game!

I have not seen the Xbox version yet though, and I imagine it will be even better than the ps2 version.

Do you know if it is in HD or not? Hopefully at least 480P. If you like how it looks on the PS2 I bet it will look and perform even better on the xbox. 👍
 
I got the demo, pretty cool but it ends too fast. :( The game is pretty cool though, AI isn't that smart but the demo was harder than I thought.

I don't think its graphics are all that, I mean, they're pretty nice and with a solid 30+ frame rate but it's not like the PS2 doesn't have games with the same graphic quality already (GT4, God of War, Jak series...).

Plus I read an interview with a developer the other day, I guess it was on IGN, and he said both versions (PS2 and Xbox) will look similar. Probably like the Burnout series.

I also read that there's 9 stages on the story mode, and it takes about an hour to finish each one. 👍

If thats true then thats good news. 9 hour game for $39.00 wouldnt be too bad.
 
Actually, from the demo, the AI isn't THAT bad. I mean, it's typical, but it does do some neat things. For instance, if I throw a grenade their way, they will run away (most of the time). Or some enemies get cover if I shoot at them.

Where the AI really faulters is from a distance. I can shoot at the enemy from a distance and it'll just take shots, which makes the Demo unexplainably easy. It's still great fun to pick them off from a distance with the AK47, lol.
 
The AI on my demo wouldn't run from the grenades. Though they hiding was cool indeed. But the best part is you can destroy pretty much all you think can be destroyed.

In the very first part of the demo, I picked up grenade and tossed them at the Car down at the bottom of the steps.

I think there's like 3 enemies there? I know for a fact the guy far to the rear runs most of the time, but the other two....💡 they aren't as smart I guess, haha.

I'm not really sure if it's just specific parts though :( As that's really the only place I use grenades...

Blowing up the pillars at the end of the demo is fun :D

May be they can't "hear" or "see" the grenade coming because there was too much going on with gun fire, smoke, bodies and flesh flying everywhere...lol:dopey:

I saw the new vids and I gotta get this, no question... no brainer... :drool:👍

A damn shame there's no gore in it though. :grumpy:
 
:lol: Well, I'm obligated to get this game now since I just won Killzone it's predicessor. (IMO)

The only games I own for the PS2 are all the GT's. I'd say it's quite an accomplishment if any other games make it as a purchase in my collection. :dopey:
 
I hate FPS, but this game looks pretty damn good. 👍

I just hope there's a an adjustment to control the movement speed, because most FPS are too fast for me. They make me vomit after just five - ten minutes of playing.
