just tested it for a couple of laps and clocked 1.35.516. With more practice can even be faster, sure it´s an upgrade compared to old setup.
Keep up with the good work.
 
Using this to some level of success....Settings not my own, just mixing and matching setups that i've seen around the place. Used the settings from the OP for a while, couldn't come to grips with that strange level of torque high in 3rd and low in fourth, kept losing it on the sweeping corners the 3 before the chicane.

I'm a newbie to the BNR34 but definately enjoying beating those GTLMs...

Will give your settings a go shortly Blitz187....maybe ill beat you by more than 1 second next time....:P

Running consistant high 36s low 37s online...haven't had a bash in free run yet.

Just had a couple runs with your settings Blitz. Blimmen awesome.

S2000s are much faster around the long sweeping corner but thats it.

"long sweeping corner" i think you mean "100R", yes, that corner is a real pain in this car...
 
Ok guys... I got a surprise for you.... I tweaked the Spec II setup and made 1st and 2nd a little shorter.... felt they were to long and changed the final gear... now its I almost dare to say... DONE! :) I'll make the changes in a bit!! Glad you liked it!! 👍
 
Fuji PRO 800PP setup- Mine's BNR34 Skyline GTR.

This car is very stable just top notch. Really like it. Now I do think that the gears could be alittle better....I've tweaked a bit for my liking but overall...nice tune Blitz. Those LM guys just get mad every single I win. They always send me msgs telling me how impossible it is...I tell them, " Nope, not impossible and yes, it's a BNR34 GTR sucker" lol

You know I was actually thinking of putting some effort into it after all the feedback... and start up Mine's Better Tuning.. :sly: Maybe it'll pop up pretty soon 👍

Nice times... HAhAHAh I only managed 8:10 in my fastest race at Fuji.... still have to practice I guess lol.... Anyway, glad you like it! Hope some new events come soon so I can make some other tunes! 👍 And keep you guys busy! :)
 
Well everyone! In celebration of post #101^^^ in my thread I have decided to open up shop! Say hello to Mine's Better Tuning Specialist. I will be reworking the first post this weekend and organizing everything nicely, so its all easy to find! I think for now I have covered the events available, but if you have requests I will be happy to look into it for you. I am going to be a car specific tuner, so for now only the Mine's GTR. If I ever feel the need, I might move on to other cars, but for now Ive had some success with the tunes I put on offer so I'm going to stick to the Mine's for now. Hence the name as well :) 👍

-edit: As you can see I have moved on to tune other cars, due to lack of suitable events and such.... so I will not be a car specific tuner anymore... but the Mine's BNR34 Skyline GTR will always be the center piece of all the tuning going on here if theres good, suitable events....

Thanks man! I figured I should open shop considering my tunes were pretty well accepted... So stay tuned for new tunes when the events update.. :) And what kind of event are you planning?? I HOPE it includes the Mine's since there havent been ANY events with a Mine's yet.... Seems a lot of people stray from this car because its 4 wheel drive and dont take into account it has a 20/80 distribution bias on the wheels.... So it behaves a lot like a RWD... :) Oh well, atleast we like it !! lol.... I'm going to add you on my PSN, I would love to have a race with ya!

Yup, thats cool! Glad you liked it! There are two values there for the final gear... either of those work nice... but if you prefer more ooomph! its all good :) 👍 Good luck with it!
 
Well, I havent been able to spend time on my shop the last few weeks... hopefully this weekend I can get cracking and organize everything... Tonight I will post up my new NO MERCY settings for the Mine's GTR. It runs pretty nice actually... but throttle control is the key... dont get over excited in the turns because it WILL punish you dearly for your mistakes.... if youre smooth and keep the throttle in check it FLYs around Suzuka.... So stay TUNED!!!! 👍 I am by the way also considering tuning some other cars for this event... so maybe some other cars will come into the Mine's Better inventory.... ;)

This tune runs pretty good online! Keep in mind that throttle control is the key..... dont get to excited and go on the gas early because then its "BYE BYE" for you.... if you stay smooth and keep throttle control in check you WILL fly :)

-edit: made some minor changes, but they make A LOT of difference.... my laptimes dropped with these adjustments.... check the bold print!

Free run I was doing 2.13,5xx, when I made the adjustments, in my first lap I did a 2.12,6xx.... I noticed though, as I drove it more the adjusted settings are little bit hard to keep consistent.... for consistency you should take the original settings... :) I'm still going to keep tuning it until I get it right... I still feel I can get more out of it... I tuned an Evo X/Tuned for fun and that thing needed five minutes of tuning and I was doing 2.11s and 2.10s already... LOL

ok thnx good to know. i did a 2.10 in the second lap with the evo 10 tuned with no adjustment made accept the pp. with the F430 DC tuned i did a 2:14 and the Z06 DC tuned a 2:12. and your faster with the evo than the Mine's. so now i know for sure i need the evo 10 for this event. i only have to wait till DC got it tuned (can't tune myself). in the mean while i'll be on Fuji Ferrari event.

Oh I can give you mine in the mean time... its really stable and fast... redid the gears and some suspension changes....

Ok heres my tune for the Evo X/Tuned.... I bet you with some more tweaking I can get some more speed out of it... this is after 5 min. of tuning... but it was already running good in my opinion. :)
