On Bathurst, the cones on the last corner are perfectly fine before the first lap start in practice mode.
Then when you have almost finish the 1st lap, one of them is tiped!

I used to see the same thing in time trial sessions on Nurburgring GP/F. About 3 seconds after you enter the track, one of the cones on the final corner would be hit quite substantially by an invisible force. Used to land several meters away from where it was, and it would happen everytime I restarted the lap.

Doesn't seem to do it anymore though.

I'll try to. I just kinda lack any kind of technology to do it.

You just need a USB.

This is used for the WRS.

Step 2: Exporting replay data to XMB
Go to the replay library and move your arrow to the Best Lap Replay you saved in the previous step.
Then press triangle and chose the option 'Export Save Data'

Now the game asks if you're sure a couple of times, so just reply with pressing X until the replay starts saving. When it's done it'll say 'Save Completed'. Be sure to write down the number at the beginning of the file name, so that you can easily find it in the XMB and later on your USB stick.
Press O to go back to the game.

Step 3: Copying to USB stick or memory card

To do this step you have to quit the game. In the XMB, go to the 'Saved Data Utility (PS3)' in the 'Game' column.

In the following list, go to the 'GRAN TURISMO 6' folder. In this folder, go to the replay file you exported in the previous step. It can easely be recognised by the starting number.

If you haven't plugged in your USB stick or card, do this now.
Press triangle and select copy. Now select your USB stick or card and press X.
The replay will now be copied to your memory device.

If there already was a replay on your memory device with the same name, the PS3 will ask you if you want to overwrite that replay. If you still need that replay, be sure to copy it on your PC before continuing.

Step 4: Preparing replay for uploading

This step will take place on your PC.
Plug in your memory device and copy the PS3 folder to your computer, for example to my documents.
Now open up the PS3 folder on your computer. Make sure that there is only a folder name 'SAVEDATA'. If there are other folders, delete them.

Now open the 'SAVEDATA' folder. Look for a folder that ends with -RPL###
The ending number is the same number you previously used to identify the replay.

Now back out of the PS3 folder (to my documents if you copied it there)
Right click on the PS3 folder and chose 'Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder'
If you have another program to compress the folder, you can use that to, but please save it as a .zip so that everyone can unzip it.
Now the replay is ready to be sent/uploaded

Step 5: Uploading zipped replay to site

Important! This step is for uploading the replay to the site. If you have to send it in an email, you just have to add the ZIP file to your email as an attachment.

Go to the Results thread of the week you entered in.
Now click on the 'Go advanced' button.
Now click on 'Manage Attachments' in the 'Additional Options' panel.
A pop-up opens. Now click on the first browse button.
Find your zipped file and press open. Now click on 'Upload'.
Now wait until the file is uploaded and listed in Current Attachments.
After this you can close the pop-up window.
You should be able to see the zip file listed above the 'Manage Attachments' button.
After this you can click on Submit Replay and you're finished 👍

Sorry to say guys but it won't return. I tried a Pagani Huayra and a Shifter kart and it didn't do anything. I tried the same car that it happened in (Monster Sport SX4 Base Model) and still nothing. I checked the replay and it's still there. I'm glad I saved it!

Why can't you rename the file on the USB?

The PS3 only admits one. Thats why.

The file comes in a folder with a PNG image, a PFD file, a SFO file and another called REPLAY.0

You can store them in a .zip and store them, but there is no way to change the filename on the USB.

I think the third one is actually the reason, since the .0 probably can't be renamed.

Must be the blocks that cars knock off at the Nurburgring. They must have landed somehow in the Swiss Alps.

Or from Bathurst, one of the two.

Any chance of just filming it using a camera phone and uploading to youtube?

We had this happen a while ago in the Vintage Shuffle race. It seems to happen with certain cars, but not others. Namely, when we had BMW 507s. But I suppose other cars also trigger it...whatever it is.

Darn it! I thought i was the one who made the discovery of the century!:banghead: but at least it's not just me lol

Didn't you say that on yours the block is immovable? On the other replay (the vintage shuffle one) the blocks get hoofed across the road...
