Woah. That is pretty epic. I wonder why they have put a 2.5L into the 8 series? Surely a bit of work to the V8 would have led to similar velocity.

I'd still rather have that M3 though...

My guess would be less weight, better weight distribution..

Maybe because of the regulations of the NEZ-GT-series. The 2.5+supercharger (500-600hp) is much much better option than a big v12.

What track is that? It looks like good fun.

It's Ahvenisto, one of the tracks used by the Super 2000 class touring cars. Great fun and popular among drifters.

edit: oh, and about the engine choice: the i6 fits completely behind the front axle..
