Well on Saturday January 11th 2014 I purchased a 1991 BMW 318i for 1200 bucks that I found on Craigslist.

It's in good condition just needs front brakes, and the left drivers side seat mechanisms need to be fixed.

Congratulations on the find! I owned a 1985 318i for several years. Really great cars. I didn't know you could get a such a clean '91 for a price like that! :)

I live in Arizona so rust is not a issue, but plastic cracking is though. The interior is surprisingly well taken car of no rips, and the paint is in good shape. The dash is cracked, but it's an AZ car so that's normal. I'm thinking about keeping it original looking with the wheel covers.

Congrats on the whip and might see you out on the road some day. (Northern Arizona)

I think it would be cheaper to find a good straight E30 uni-body roller then build a E30 M3 replica, rather trying to find a descent E30 M3 for under 30k.

I will be selling my 1987 BMW 535is with a 5 speed manual on PHX, AZ, CLs. Just don't have the time, money, or place to put it at the moment.

Well of course. I'm just talking realistic here!

Oh duh ... nice in the summers though
Thats the beauty of living here, you can see all the seasons. The roads are terrible though, not maintained at all and thats why I NEEDED winter wheels because it becomes pothole central along with the cinders/salt its to much. Oh the misery haha. One of the main reasons why I havent lowered my car at all, wouldnt be able to access half the town haha!
