Tonights meet was nothing fancy, I just wanted everyone to meet and have a good time. Unfortunately I had to leave due to some personal matters but all-in-all everything was successful. I want to encourage all of you to use this thread as a tool to reach all of us BMW lovers/drivers. Have your own drift challenges and conduct your own races at your own time on your own accord. You do not have to wait for me. But I do want to conduct a competition around Christmas time, provided this club continues to progress. I haven't quite worked out the details yet but I'd like a competiton for drifting and one for racing. Prizes will be given to those in 1st-3rd place. Again I havent worked out the details yet. Tomorrows meet will be the same as tonights only uninterrupted! I'll have drifting sessions, road going, and GT sessions. I hope to see all of you online with us again tomorrow. Thanks to all who came tonight!

Yea it was awesome except for tokyo in his GTR race car LMAO. Everyone was drifting in road cars and he was overlaping them lol. But I had a GREAT time. No children, and as you said, a great set of people!
 
it was great meeting everyone. told you me and zoot had jokes :) sorry i suck at the road racing but i love to tandem drift and touge. heres a couple of pics i got from tonights session

I tried to start a BMW one-make racing series, but didn't receive much interest, but in doing so also created a small web page which would be perfect for this club you're looking into making.
Just click the picture/links in the OP and check it out. I'd be glad to change the email address and hand the reins over to whomever takes the lead in your proposed club.
 
Jlaw seems legit. So far I've been "running" the show but I'd like to encourage everyone to have their own side races and just meet up here, post picures (thanks ninja) and hold discussions. Now I'm not the official leader, and previously I stated that there wasn't any, but if anyone would like to step up to the plate then do so. All I ask is that you allow me to hold my competition when Christmas time comes around :)

My photo albums have been updated (Photo Mayhem & ///MPOWER ). My apologies to the GTRs but you guys all had silver paint jobs with similiar spoilers. It was hard to distinguish who from who and focus on pics single or collectively. Anywho, i will be updating the album after every meet. Feel free to comment on pics.

Not a bad little drift session! I still need some serious work though. I think our next online session shouldn't be a lounge though. Every once in awhile is cool. I just want the public to feel free to join with their BMW's and no bulls***.

i volunteer to host next time. just letting you know now its gonna be a drift session on a created tracks should be fun

uhhh i dunno. i start my work week tonight so ill be sleep tomorrow if we hold a session
 
Yea I work from Friday through Sunday so there is absolutely no way I can hold any session. I may do a Kart Space race just for kicks but that's a long shot. I hope someone hosts a race tomorrow.

******* right lol. I need alot of practice myself. I need some tune and tire tips. I went onto youtube and watched a video on tuning an M3 for drifting and the car just skids all over the place like a wet a** on watery ice.

ahh dude when i got 135i i didnt do anything to it for like a month, just threw on some comfort hards and slide the damn thing. now i added more power(380 sumtin) lowered it a bit with the full suspension, and all the drive train stuff. had that set for the longest and just today i finally decided to take off some more weight and now the car get more sideways

I'm gonna go ahead and get the 135i and start out the way you did. My problems are the engaging the drift and maintaining control of the car to remain sideways :dunce:
 
lol be advised i started drifting in the game with a sileighty hahaha but yea if you want my help with the 1series ill help
 
lol I should've known :) I'll buy the 1 series and tune it to your specs for a first timer. I really want to learn how to drift I mean I've always wanted to.

Ill host one tomorrow 10/27 @1:00 PST. It will be custom tracks with many people. If you need tips drifting many of the racers on my FL that will be in there will gladly help. A lot of my tracks are skill based so you can get the hang of drifting. I won't stay long because of work but while I'm in I will conduct drifting free runs and drifting races. Room will be "///MPower"

Yea once my son is a year old I'm continuing my dream of being a Pharmacist. Currently it's on hold but I hope, after the birth, that the government will give me more money. What are you studying?
