I don't have anything to add. I've seen the stats. Looks well considered on paper but how does it translate on track?

Question about the weight reduction ratio - the lower it is - the higher the weight of the car is, right?

e.g. [Weight Reduction Ratio: 102% > 101%] would actually be "bad" as the car would be heavier? Just having troubles understanding the whole concept of "reduction - weight" ratio with percentages.

The lower the percentage the lighter the car. I wondered too but if you look at the stats to the left of the screen when you make the adjustment the car gets lighter as you reduce the percentage. Slightly confusing wording, it shouldn't be "weight reduction ratio" it should simply be "weight".
So really it seems like most of the Gr3 cars just got heavier and less powerful, including my beloved Z4 :guilty:

I can't hardly believe I'm seeing ~5% changes in weight (e.g. BMW Z4 Gr.3), that's MASSIVE, let alone the 8% change to the RCZ Gr.3. These are some major changes, folks. PD isn't just tapping the sliders on this update. I can't wait to see how Sport Mode is going to look this next week.

edit: Makes me wonder just how much tweak there is in the "improved handling" patch notes to warrant this sort of increased weight fluctuation across the board.

I predict in Gr.3, Porsches and Beetles will remain fast and popular, and Gr.4 should see the return of the Citroën and Viper in the top spots. The Scirocco and Megane will probably remain competitive on lap times, but at least we should be able to overtake them now. As long as they're not the automatic winners in battle situations, we should see more and more people switching to something more consistent like 4WDs.

Just reading the figures, I can see the new BoP is still not perfect, but it's going mostly in the right direction. Keep driving, the more data, the better next BoP tweaks will be.

Did they REALLY need to tinker with EVERY car??!

I'm so mad right now. They torpedoed the Corvette and Z4, and it was already hard to keep up with the legions of 911s.

And when will they fix the unbalanced fuel economy?

GR.4 is about to become a viper fest btw. I'm so sick of this game

Gr.3 Class
・Subaru WRX Gr.3 [Weight Reduction Ratio: 100% > 103%]

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
DON'T FAT SHAME MY WAIFU CAR POLYPHONY
On a more serious note, it'll be interesting to see how the heavier weight ratios across the board will affect Gr3 times. It's going to be a bit more challenging to hit the previous best times, but I think we'll still see many of the current crowd favorites clean house in Sport Mode and the FIA Championships.

The Bop was adjusted, but the fuel usage makes it's a moot point. I had the sls doing well, but it needed a splash and go while the Megane could do a fast pace on no stops.

PD is obviously adjusting based on car stats, not real usage data. Their adjustments make no sense from the perspective of in game performance.

take a look at BoP'd lbs/hp...
Megane = 7.21
Cayman = 9.72
mmmm... ok.

BTW, does any have a complete listing of hp and weight BoP across the entire field?
So far I am missing the following;
Gr.3 Mustang BoP weight?
Gr.3 Merc AMG BoP weight?
Gr.3 Merc SLS AMG BoP weight?
Gr.3 RSR BoP power?
Gr.3 WRX BoP power?
