list cars that are so stable that they are boring to drive.
I'll start with the clio v6. reasonable power:weight MR, just too boring to drive, even at its limits as it is just too stable.
any others?

Spoon S2000 race car. In full trim, it barely moves my bowels, much less my heart.

AO

What's wrong with a car being too stable? But saying that, a fully tuned Peugeot 206 Rally Car set up to run on tarmac is extremely stable; so stable it seemed that anything I did on the setup did not change it's behavior. But it wasn't really a bad thing, it just felt as if it could go faster than what it was. I would also probably say the SuperAutoBacs MR-S is the same way, but it has been a long time since I have driven it and I may be wrong. I don't exactly remember how it behaved; could someone tell me how it handled again?

The R390 Race Car is sort of boring if you ask me. I have much more fun with the 787B or the TS020, which are equally capable with a lot more effort.

S2000 LM Race Car. Yawn fest. Offers nothing.

The Tom's/Denso Supras (without turbo upgrades) are pretty mind-numbing. The S2000 Race Car can be fun if you spice it up a bit.

Yea, but by then, it's to fast for most of the cars in the game, and too slow for the fastest cars.

It's like the Raybrig NSX. Buying a little extra hp makes it perform, and handle, a lot better. But, then it's too fast for the cars you want to race against it.

Pretty much all of the F1 cars are stable and fast but Id say they are NEVER a bore to drive. Always fun especially if you drive aggressive - ME:lol:

i get bored with the F-1 cars and the escudo cuz they make it 2 easy...although there is a plus side, easy money lol

That thing is not stable. Anything that is 1500+ kilos and oversteers to the point where you may as well drift through the turns, is by no means, stable.

I don't think any car is "too" stable. The more predictable the better. The easier the car is to drive, the less you have to think about what the car is doing and the more you can think about what the OTHER cars are doing.

:)

The Formula 1 cars are too... craptacular for my liking. They handle too good which puts me off. I usually just race road cars.

Very true, the Gt-0ne when driven hard can be a handfull. The 787b handles slightly better, but the sheer speed of the thing makes it exciting. The R390 handles well, but it doesn't need too much effort, also the R390's engine note is a bit dull compared to the insane sounding V8 and that lovely 20b rotary engine of the 787b. The R390 is known to be slightly faster than the GT-0ne, but I prefer the GT-0ne.

By the way, stock cars are awesome. The slower the better, my favorite enduros are the TM and Apricot hill ones. And my favorite cup is the PD cup, I find it easier to graduly improve my laptimes in stock cars than modified cars.

Boring cars eh? Well, i'd say uh maybe......

At the moment I can't think of any.

there are no stockcars in gt3 :odd:

I think I like a little unpredictability in a car... a loose.
If I dont have to think while i drive i get bored real quick.
I bought a clio, took the asm and tcs off then ran it around laguna seca.... got bored within one lap and sold it again

Clio V6 is arguably one of the most brilliantly neutral handling car in the game if tuned properly. Calling it "boring" is doing it a great disservice.

exactly my point... neutral to me = boring.

Audi TT. It's not boring in the sense of having absolutely neutral handling, but rather because it's steering is so damn numb, and the car feels like it'd be happier if its engine just died.

I would have to agree with you on the TT. It's not that it is a bad car; it's just it is very unpredictable on what it is going to do, like as in actually grip and take a corner well or just plow into the wall.

I've driven a TT in real life, it's in game counterpart is a bit of a mis-representation. It's wierd though, the TT in GT2 was much more interesting to drive than the and the engine actually felt like it had some torque, I think it made a cool rallycar with the racemod. Well err in GT2 anyway.

A fully modded (and I do mean fully) TT has actually brought me pleasure in driving on occation. Helps if it's black and you watch the replays.

I've found the fully modded TT to be fun to drive also; but, I don't like how at times it doesn't always seem to be consistent lap to lap on what kind of grip it is going to give you.

The Vertigo is pretty boring, too.

I would say that about the Vertigo if I actually knew how to setup the darn thing up.
