i think it may be becuase the breaks are locking up and the antilock is kicking in too much... thats why you get that really skippy feel right?

set them down to 12 and see what happens. then you can start thinking about suspension and weight transfer

I did a thread on this - basically on 24/24 you're wheels keep locking, then unlocking, which is why you hear that weird sound, which is in fact the ABS.

The game doesn't simulate total lock up like what happens in real life, so you can avoid this problem by decreasing your brake balance (so transferring less brake torque) to around 8, and then start working your way up until you notice it's too strong, then back up.

High HP cars tend to require lower brake balance settings than cheaper, lowerer powered cars.

Most helpful post i've seen to correct this problem thank you for the help it gave me

i did tests and 24 vs 3 there really isnt much difference in brake distance. with 24 though its easier for the car to unsettle while braking (and that noise is annoying). also man, dont forget that most of the high horsepower cars do not have brakes fit to handle the power. brake earlier, and if you cant win then use a real racecar.

just my 2 cents, i found that pumping the breaks on off on off a fiew times before a turn helps alot and doesent slow your time down mutch at all ( and if any is made up by not overshooting the corner) give that a try aswell for thoes non breakin beasts (ie ford gt, saleen s7 )

first ALL my cars are F12 R9. brake in earlier than you want but ease onto the brakes. watch the meter showing the brakeing power and make sure you are steady, practise this a number of times whether it be on the test course or at the track. some tracks you'll need different brake settings depending on the style of course. Laguna will be way different from tokyo.
Good luck man, i hope i helped

when im driving though at the paved rally tracks i found that 3f 12r was perfect to keep the car from understeering durring braking in those slower corners, but watch out at high speeds.

If you really want to notice how it affects braking distance, try 3/3 and then 24/24 on the Sauber C9 or R390.

Hello . I'm a newb in the forum , but not at the game .
I found that (using wheel works great)--If you set the brakes in the front to about 3-4 and set the rear to 8-10 ,you will get a nice steady brake pattern. The rears will slightly lock up a bit but not enough to spin ya.(unless your into a drift)
