Brilliant Racing Videos

When I first heard of this class at one of Bathurst events and saw the 928 in the field, I became a fan.
You would have loved the side by side with the 928 down the main straight with clear audio of the German bent eight.
Group S is essentially there for what doesn't fit in Group N because it is considered too Sports Car.
Two seats instead of four.
Think Camaro in Group N, Corvette in Group S.
Further, the Class is also made up of three sub-classes centred on the age of the vehicles.
Sa is for Production Sports Cars without a competition history, manufactured by the end of 1960.
Sb for those generally manufactured 1961-1969.
Sc for 1970-1977.

I think the VHRR are going to trial combining cars of a similar age from Groups N and S at the Winton Historics later this month. I'm very interested to see how they play together.
