Hypocrisy of stating that sending money offshore is immoral while profiting from doing so.

I think. Mainly the hypocrisy bit.
But what Cameron does is what many pension schemes do too. So are we all guilty?

@Johnnypenso - Both are legal, but Cameron made a morale judgement on Jimmy Carr's tax activity. Which was a complete cheap shot aimed at a often controversial comedian. DC didn't pass any comment on Gary Barlow, an absolute sweetheart of granmothers everywhere, for doing the same thing.

So whilst I disagree with DCs criticism of Jimmy Carr, and dislike hypocrisy, I don't think Cameronis be rightly criticized on this one particular topic.

He's a politician right? Isn't hypocrisy a prerequisite for the job?

If what both of them did was legal, what's the issue?
One is the leader of the nation who (I think) claimed that it was immoral to minimise your tax bill but later turned out to be doing exactly that.

The other is a citizen who (I think) minimised his tax bill.

It's the leading of a nation & telling the voters that "We're all in this together" when apparently we're not, that is the issue.

I didn't even need to open that link to guess that it was F1's own "Poisoned Dwarf".

And at 62, which is positively young these days. Very sad, I will always remember her in Dinner Ladies.

Wake up, Brits! Snap to attention!

Obama is in your land now, and telling you what to do.

Key message: "You DO NOT want sovereignty. Weakness is strength."

Really he's here to have cucumber sandwiches with Her Maj and hand over some atrocious gift while Phillip stands glowering at the black people from a corner.

Yawn. Unlike many Americans we Brits quite often go beyond our borders. The £90-or-so it costs each of us a year to be in the EU would be quickly swallowed by the price increases, the extra insurance, the extra health service costs of not being in the EU.

There'll be no improvement in the quality of laws passed (as the current UK government has shown) if they're made in Brussels rather than Westminster - and both by elected representatives of course. England doesn't have its own parliament anyway.

We'll listen politely to POTUS as we always do and hope that Phillip doesn't shoot at him.

Obama wants the UK to drop out of the EU? That's odd.
Watched a session of Parliament questioning the PM a few weeks ago. It made me sad for what we have here in the States. I love how much freer everyone was with their words than they are here. Seems more authentic as opposed to calculated.

You mean he wants us to stay in the EU.....

Ectually, we require what's left of your armed forces to be taking orders from a supranational command authority.

How would EU membership change that? Anyway, further discussion belongs in the Brexit thread.

In similar news, the most protected politician in the world is now being driven by a 95-year-old with a V8. In the greatest tradition of the British holiday there was some discussion about who would sit where. Sadly Phillip chose the seat with the loud pedal.

Good job you guys have elections soon...

There is a huge group of individuals here that would love to watch that old man drive the president into a tree.
Btw, while I would love to make the excuse that autocorrect on phones sucks. I think I'll stick with just calling you Tini The Don. Just call it a happy little Mafioso mistake...

I couldn't believe they allowed the President to sit in an unarmed Range Rover driven by a living fossil!

In other news Scotland has new £5 and £10 notes. Now where's the one with a picture of 2 whisky bottles on the back?

Probably not unarmed, it was Phillip's car after all :D

When they opened the rear doors I noticed they were stock thickness as was the glass in the frame. As far as I could tel it looked every bit a stock Range Rover, though probably a top of the line one.

Nice Beaver(s) 👍

Otters, totally different species and family ;)

I was referring more to Phillip's personal armaments rather than any DPG alterations :D
