I actually flipped my Evora 7 times in one crash, also on the Nürburgring. Still won the race easily.

Me too since I owned a '74 Johnny Player Special for years. While the Twin Cam motor didn't really excite me with its performance, the handling, braking and general manner of the car was literally world class. Can't say I'm driving my car in the game cause I have the Special fully tuned so I can show those stupid AI how to get around a track At 240hp, much lighter and with slicks its a different animal then the real thing.

If you want to have some fun use the Lotus Europa. I've been having a blast with this car on these events.

Try the Opel Corsa if your up for a fun challenge, just make sure you have enough top end speed for the Ring

hahahaha. I love this picture because I used the Caterham too and this happened to me several times including one complete flip (which got me the trophy). Still won the race.

* Only Nurburgring Nordschleife can I not win with it, best on 3rd place (most time 5th because I made something totally stupid). But still i like to drive there with Caterham.

Wow! I've been using a 415PP Elan on Sports Soft tires to win. Think of all the time I'd save if I used one of these cars to just blast by everything on the first lap.

Tried this earlier today - came 1.5 seconds behind P1 - great challenge, a good test of consistency, accuracy and maintaining car speed - I'm going back there real soon

I got better lap times with the caterham by not trying to cut the curbs and such, it felt slower but you can't argue with a significantly faster lap time. It can easily win.

I don't cut. I drive clean.
I drive with "stock" Caterham on sport soft, weight= 400kg (+31kg, I think) and some power limiter so i have the 550PP.

PS: with a tuned Caterham on racing soft it is without a problem.

With my skills, impossible with the Triumph, doable with a MGF

Try it with my tune of the Spitfire. You'll crush all the other tracks but London will be a challenge. Tune is posted in my garage in the tuning forum.(see below for link)

So now have ended 2nd, but still on the first one something over 9 sec.
"stock" Caterham on sport soft, weight= 400kg (+31kg, position +50) HP=157 PP=550

Stock it comes with longish low gears, which I imagine helps limit corner-exit/power-on oversteer. Thankfully so, 'cause I imagine the car would otherwise be be as much "fun" to drive as a Cobra or Yellowbird. As is it handles great and can deal with most of the Lightweights series no prob.

I'd been doing multiple runs of London in a TVR Cerbera 6. Set so that hard tyres on rear, soft on front and drifting through every corner. Great fun!

The Tamora beats any Elise with a stick -- and then stomps on them to make sure they're dead. Fabulous car and a dead-certain win in all five races of the series.

The Fireblade is fun but it will not tolerate curbs. I had to use the Evora to win the 'Ring though.

I did London with an MGF I picked up in the used car lot, left the comfort tyres on it gave it an oil change and when out on the track. Took a couple of attempts but got there in the end. Great fun.

I used both McLaren's for the Cote D'Azur race as it's the only way to race the track in a good car for decent money .

If you intended on spending 1,000,000+ for seasonal grinders, you should've just invested in

1mil+ = ENZO, SP1

under 1mil- 458, 430 scuderia, F40, 599

The La sarthe seasonal nets you much more money per race than Cote D'Azur

The Elise is so easy it is not fair. The G4 is too, exept on the Ring, where you have to baby the throttle. Gonna find something more challenging.
