Yup besides the weird black screens etc PD held up. Why is Sy wanting to quit? He did just leave in the middle of race 2 just as I caught up to him. :(

No reflection on the series basically a lack of time/motivation Team Psycho therefore withdraw from the team championship.:grumpy:
Trophy will be kept dust free for the hand over.:p
 
I have withdrawn from V8's. JB and Gedi you have PM. I may do a swansong at Le Mans but thats why. I will answer more via PM should you wish. :(
 
Damn, sorry to hear of the quitters, I don't know about all you guys but I lack the motivation to do a series without mics and with people taking things seriously and putting in loads of practice. Especcially after the stupid arguments in Trucks this last week. :indiff:

TOCA Legends tomorrow if anybody fancies it, just turn up, race clean, and have some banter.
 
Do we take things too seriously? Is that part the reason people are leaving?
 
I think this is a pretty laid-back series, all told. There's certainly less penalties than BTCC, for instance.

What may count against it, in my personal opinion, is the length of the races (perhaps allied to the difficulty of the cars). Maybe I'm just a lightweight, but Race 2 can sometimes be nearly an hour... that needs committed drivers who are likely to take racing that more seriously than others (as well as those that can spare the time). People who are able to successfully team speed with good strategy. Not everyone can do that, especially GTP rookies. I reckon I'm the least experienced guy in this series, and I think that shows. Maybe it's your point, but I think this series might be too daunting for the less experienced racers, and there's only a finite number of experienced guys here.

As a personal point, I'll probably have a Christmas job in December which will wipe out all of my evenings, so I probably won't race Season 6 (at least to start with).

I love longer races, longest I have done is 3 hours at Le Mans in CALM :D. I concider myself a better endurance driver than sprint race driver though 👍.

It's just an advanced series, and some people can only compete at an advanced level for so long before they fade or they lose their mojo - I mean you only have to look at Schumacher as evidence of that.

Well considering we 'lack numbers' we still had 10 starters each race and thats without JB with his dead wheel and Kartman said he couldnt join.

And yeah Im pretty sure we all unaminously agreed to 12 race calendar. :)

The time is certainly nowhere near Gedi 👍. Dont fix what aint broke.

Yup it's a pretty similar thing I am doing in my Clios only tyre wear for both races with the first race geared for no stops and the 2nd a reverse race with a mandatory stop. I think/hope it's pretty easy for all so I can get some new people in :).
