Are those times listed PM, Sydney time? Is all of the east coast of Australia on 1 time? Im assuming you guys are Aussie cause of the V8 guy. And i probably saw his flag

Nope we are british the time here now is 6.56pm so the race would be round this time.

So if your available at this time on a Monday to race then all is good đź‘Ť
 
Yea that's perfect. And you guys start again in January? I start work soon and I work practically all day every day leading up to Christmas. I will have to wait and see cause my boss is pretty random

Stu i see you tried the "Normal" tyre/fuel setting out have you had a chance to check the "Fast" option ?:nervous:

In fast it burns fuel quickly - I noticed it seems to go (maybe) faster down than tyre wear
So my have to do refueling this season :scared:
 
The run down is basically.. Normal is normal, fast is roughly x2 fuel burn and tyre wear and very fast is x4 fuel burn and tyre wear.

Yep this is what i found in my Audi tyre test. Set room to 14 laps selected Monza ran out of fuel on lap 14 going through Ascari could have done another lap on existing tyres.:scared:
 
Anyone interested in being a steward next season can you either pm myself or the toad leader please. Rolo may or may not race next season but either way his steward days are done. Remember though you will be required to sit there and watch the odd replay back so please dont sign up for the job if you are not willing to do this ta very much.:)

I'm definitely committed for the odd test race though đź‘Ť
 
Hey guys, first things first I should probably start off with an apology, I signed up and then didn't turn up to any of the races. The first 2 weren't my fault, granted, but I should have made more of an effort to make the other two. But Uni deadlines got the better of me :guilty: Sorry!

However one thing that is slightly putting me off is the length of race 2, I know it's meant to be a test of endurance and strategy but it does look quite long, and coupled with the first race and all the organising that goes on at the start it lasts quite a while.
So perhaps with the new tyre wear choices perhaps a faster setting could be selected and then a shorter race? Rather than a slower setting and a longer race.

Race 1 is for the short blast, the race were its all about lap times and speed, no other factors involved.

Race 2 takes into the account of lots of different factors. You can do lots of different strategies. I really enjoyed Indy race 2, was interesting as I went for a careful setup which saved my tyres and the race came to me, so I really enjoyed hunting down the drivers towards the end of the stints and was good fun with each driver trying different ways

I don't know how long the race was in minutes but it went really quickly for me because for every lap I was always having focus and think what times i need to do, whats the person behind/infront doing
Its a different challenge from race 1's, but I like it as much
