Ok spurge but surely if you go off in 2nd place you shouldn't keep your 2nd place if you've cut the corner you fault or not. I know it couldn't be helped and r35 pushed you.

Will check this out in a sec did notice it at the time at thought uh oh!:nervous:

Spurgy 777
And if I remember right, you overtook us a corner or two later anyway. :)

Yes you are right but that was me overtaken not you's 2 yielding as you 2 was still battling.

I'm not totally aiming this at you as R35 is to blame too.

Well arsed that one up appears i didnt save race 2 apologies.:guilty::dunce:

Quick Viper check commencing.

100% no from me on the Viper weight going up. The thing is already hopelessly slow against Ferrari's California's on a straight.

I disagree that viper on a straight is quicker than my sls

Cant agree tbh your Merc must have a V6 the SLS is fractionally quicker than the Viper in a straght line with the Ford being quickest overall imo.:)

Viper Spa Test Data

To be fair to R35 he does have a point the Viper in my test was pretty much finished at current spec at the start of lap 7:ouch: Seems all that torque has taken its toll:guilty: At 1420kg it just managed 8 although it was tight Spurgy may be able to find a better tyre saving set up i set it up as oversteery as i could. I ran it at 1420kg and 582bhp S/Charged and managed a few 2.19's best 2.19.2 (tyre wear off). I would suggest 1420kg and 582bhp and leave the supercharger as optional less torque may well improve tyre wear for some:idea: If Akmuq is sticking around since he requested some help in the weight department a while back dropping the Ford to 1450kg seems a fair compromise on his part all be it a small one the Fords already pretty quick:sly:

I'm just going by me and r35 his car always seems faster in a straight line.

I will test the Viper later today, still no setup from R35 so I will just try the one I had on my California.

Fairdoos im just going by what the cars were hitting at the end of the Monza straight in the tests 179mph for the Viper, Merc (my one:nervous:) was hitting 182mph Ford 183/4. That said the thing will probably be quicker with a little less weight.:sly:

spurgy you were overshooting the corner wether i hit you or not i think :P i just made it worse :dopey: i havent been home since noticing that post, will send around time of nel's enduro, but gedi the only reason i beat you in the corners is how i take the corner, being the brick i pretty much make my own line (cant reveal my secrets or else you will all counter me) and how i influence how you race, i know it may sound stupid but the only reason i stay ahead of people is by making them corner how i want them to corner :D but a quick exit is #1 for me toad, or else you would be gone after 100mph

Na, looked at the replay, I got the corner speed and line just right, got my braking spot on :)

Yeh, by the looks of it the problem was you weren't sure if you had braked early or not so kept going on and off the brakes into the corner to try and keep alongside me which mean't you were going way too fast for the inside line when you got there :)
