Sat in Becketts grandstand while the rain was on. It may have even been during delay in F1 quali, it was all wet as you know.
 
Ah yes Stu, you can see from your 2nd pic where Bruno Senna binned it in FP2 on the friday. Also, it means at some stage, I will have walked past you, :sly:

And I havent tested since Monday Stu :p
 
######ANNOUNCEMENT######

We are proud to announce that Team Californication_RHCP will take part in the BST V8 Series this Season.

What car will we be using? Well if you hadn't guessed already it's the Ferrari California BST Race Car.

Why did we choose the California? Well for 3 very good reasons.
a) It looks superb
b) Apart from the looks it's very competitive
and
c) It brings a complete package with a great sounding engine!

Along side this wonderful piece of art, the team has contracted two fast and experienced drivers.

1. Spurgy
He is new to this Series and to racing these cars competitively, but he's proved himself in other BIG Series and Races that he is a Racer through and through.
He is fast to begin with, but he also knows how to set a car up properly making him even faster.
We are extremely proud to have him on-board, making the first half of a competitive team.

2. Sakery
He is a veteran in these cars and has proven that he can race.
He was 2nd in the Season 2 (almost won it against the almighty Audi's) and was part of the winning Team that Season.
He is tough opponent so we are again really proud to have another great driver in our team!
But unfortunately he isn't fully involved due to a mis-signing he made in another contact, resulting in him not being about to make all of the races.

Together these drivers make an awesome team as they proved in the 90's DTM series where they managed to come up with some very good tunes for and otherwise uncompetitive car. If they can do the same in this series they could be the team to beat!

But wait, we have to announce our main sponsors competition.

One VERY annoying person from Team RPM has already guessed the meaning of our RHCP tag, he shall be sent his prize in the colour of his choice, and then taken away and shot shortly after for ending our competition so soon :(

The answer was Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

As a little extra competition (this is for people with a lot of time on their hands), can you guess what colours we have painted our cars? Theres 3 separate colours, one for the rim colour of both our cars, then one for the body of my car, and one for the body of Sakery's.
The name of each colour has at least one of the four words in RHCP. Each colour you guess you get another California in your choice of colour meaning there are 3 up for grabs!
As I said.. Its for people with a lot of time on their hands. :)

EDIT: Because I appears I wasn't clear enough *cough*Furi*cough* the name of each paint either has the word RED, HOT, CHILLI or PEPPER in it, and there's 3 of them.
You can also have as many guesses as you like as there are lots or paints with those words in :)

With some tuning and squeezing a bit more torque out of it (from 61 to 63 :D) I managed to get a 1.46.563!! Here's my tune.

EDIT 1.46.249 but cut a couple of the kerbs a bit too much so it was probably more like a 1.46.3 :)

Nice time Spurg only 2 secs quicker than me. :ouch: Thanks for posting your setup will give it a try later. But the default lsd will prob have me spinning in circles. :dopey:

Will be testing different LSD soon, and the 1.46.2 was set with -5 rear ride, and -0.15 rear toe.
