2 stop is better round here imo. As when on knackered tyres you lose more time than it's worth due to the nature of the turns. My 2 pence. :sly:

Now, to cook dinner before getting in some last minute pitlane practise :P
 
Very true Paul 1 stop is just plain stupid, but if anyone can do it then welldone :)

Kartman yes the Beemer was sweet around here last season.
 
To add the pitlane is pretty short too around 25-30 secs at most for a pit.. Maybe less.

So if on the 1 stop (11, 12) vs the 2 stop. (7, 8, 8) Say you lose 4 seconds on the 4 extra laps per stint compaired to the 2 stop then you lose over 32 seconds. (Likely you could br over 5 seconds slower though so even more time loss)

I'm your tyre man from the BBC F1 broadcast, telling you which strategy is best :D.

True coz on lap 7-8 I was doing 2.05's and lap 9 I was in the 08's hate to think what lap 10-11 would be 11's possibly.
 
Don't know if I'll be racing tonight, don't hold up for me anyway.

well make sure you also put in 200 laps of daytona for the opener 👍. can't have a series with different corner cutting rules without a different track 👍

Just like to say that I hit 2 people at last chicane in race 1, I can't remember who it was but I'm sorry misjudged brake point from draft. :guilty:
 
Really pleased with my performance tonight! 8th place in both races, I think. Managed to last 8 laps on the tyres (even though I dropped to 2:09/2:10...), so did a 2-stop in the race. Had hoped to jump to 7th but probably lost 25 seconds just by repeatedly going off.

Could have lost 8th in R2 by crashing at the chicane on the last lap, but just held it! :)
 
Did every one get back in the lounge after race 2 ? I was stuck with a black screen. Well done on the win Spurgy and unlucky 35, only 5 secs back 👍

i crashed on lap 22 :( was 3-4s ahead before that and on course for my first bst win since... um.. last may?
 
Didn't really deserve the win in race 1. Have done about 20 Laps of practise up to race start so I've hardly put the effort in really this week. Slack. Was lucky to be gifted 2nd when Maldonado took out Alonso & Hamilton going up the hill then vettals alternator went which gifted me the win!

Race 2 my car was like a camel on drugs. Terrible tyre wear. I think I did 4 stops. I did put up the windbreak and get the sandwiches out a few times which didn't help things. Sorry teamo.

Congrats to spurgy on race 2 win.

I was there nel. Sakery was lining you up into turn 1 so I went down the inside of him and I think I may of tapped u into turn 2 then he was gawn! Just like that!
 
I messed up too many times tonight, welldone sy & spurgy for your wins unlucky to spurge for his D'c.

Good nights racing tonight i didnt see any mishaps other than me hitting 2 people at chicane :guilty:

oh and R35 you nearly had the spurge (Alien) better luck next time.
