Breaking news.

Toad leader has now got a job which starts Monday and the work is all over Essex.

I will see how I go on practice nights see if I can make it, so be prepared guys as this toad may have to give the V8's up (sorry stu & Team toad) and ESP johnboy.
It breaks my heart to have to do this but it is a very good job & money too good to miss infact.

I will still be very much involved with V8's as its my home :) but may have to miss a lot of races.

Theres 5 stages of grieving, i think JB's at the denial stage, the next stage is anger, so if Gedi does go we best keep out of JB's way!!

Congratulations Gedi on your new Job mate, hope you still hang around though. I always like to keep an eye on the v8 thread,. the banter between you two on here always keeps me entertained..

Not that i can recall mr 458's fine and very much on the pace.:dopey:
 
How does everyone want to sort the grid out for the season opener? Right now we have 3 choices.

1. 20 minute quali on the night only small problem is it will be impossible to carry out the weight/bhp checks as people come and go so we will be relying on trust.

2. Revert back to S5 quali system for the season opener only, basically you can set a lap say a week prior to the season opener which would start on the 14th idealy.

3. We use a practice night and have a short race around Tokyo 7/8 laps and that will decide the grid order come race night. If you cant make it revert to S5 quali rules and start non showers from the back.

Any other suggestions welcome.💡

You could still do the checks for the race, just take note of the times at the end of the allocated time for qualifying, reset the track, do all the checks as per normal, line up in the order Gedi says so and go :p

So yeah, my vote is for No.1 👍

Checks for qualifying was the worry Nel unless im missing the point.:dunce: We would have to wait for everyone to arrive do the checks then commence with the qualifying and hope nobody leaves the track for any reason.:nervous: Not that we dont trust you all!:lol: This option/method sounds good to me.:)

Just do the "Q the week before Race-night"-System and we are good.
=> we can start right on time and don´t finish too late.

After the first Testing I´m undecided between 2 Cars. (SLS and 458 Italia)

Team-name will be:
Lamboflage

Colour:
Maroone Apus / Arancio Atlas (both Lambo paints)

I agree King qualifying should be sorted on the week commencing the 7th of December can see things getting messy and late on race night otherwise.👍
