Was Laguna not a hated track the last time we ran it. Any track is fine with me I can be average any place. :ouch:
 
I wouldn't be surprised if I'm down the back again this season, but at least hopefully in a rather easier car to drive :scared:

Laguna was mental track in s4 but had good battle with toffe for the win đź‘Ť
 
Great turnout for a practice session indeed. I decided to try all the cars in negative order of speed I had in them and found it to be pretty much the same I had on Suzuka the day before.

I was about 2 seconds off the pace in the Viper and Z06 in Tokyo. I would need some serious setup-magic to be fast in them (loads of understeer). In the ZR1 I'm about a second faster (a little tail-happy, but not bad), and in the 458 a further couple of tenths. Then the California (very stable as it has less torque), and when we were back at Suzuka I found the Merc and the Ford GT to be fastest again (about equal - that were low 2:02's, 2:01 surely possible).

As it stands now, I'm going to choose between the latter two as I don't see myself squeezing out massive amounts of time from the other cars.
 
Breaking News!!​

I can confirm Team Bee Sting Resurection Racing (BSRR for short:crazy:) of V8-Johnboy and Strawman Andy will pilot the Ford GT and the Dodge Viper ACR respectively

The Teams No1 driver Strawman Andy will take the reigns of the Viper after some relative experience with it at the back end of Season 5.

Bee Stings No2 V8-johnboy after a setup re-vamp will saddle up and ride the Ford GT after realising he cant decide from a choice of 4 and is becoming gradually worse with all of them!!:ouch:

RPM are said to be planning a single car privateer effort for Furi for a part time campaign.
 
Oh yea Ive just been doing alot of stuff and yea haven't replied directly to your message, sorry. I think I'll wait til just before it starts, in January right? Because I will be working all day every day in December. Don't know what could happen in December.

Breaking news.

Toad leader has now got a job which starts Monday and the work is all over Essex.

I will see how I go on practice nights see if I can make it, so be prepared guys as this toad may have to give the V8's up (sorry stu & Team toad) and ESP johnboy.
It breaks my heart to have to do this but it is a very good job & money too good to miss infact.

I will still be very much involved with V8's as its my home :) but may have to miss a lot of races.

I'm not out of the picture yet, plus it's only the racing I may miss.

I cant really say whats the better option as im pretty inconsistent in both just the ZR1 looks better on paper.:)
And after those test races even more so.:drool:

Me too mate, don't find out till thurs where I'm working yet but he did mention stansted airport which is only an hour away but with traffic
