Early heads up guys with regards to Monaco.

Me and jb have had many discussions about the safety of the chicane in these cars, we have agreed for this 1 time only to not penalise ppl for going over it and not having 2 wheels on track there. This doesn't mean it's an invite to divebomb someone there and get away with it.

The reason for this is due to it being very tight and could cause a pile up.

Oh and no overtaking there via cutting :)

I see yeah the last bit is a little confusing:dunce: From memory theres only so much of a chop you can do in order to negotiate the corner anyway:crazy: If anyones brave enough or possibly daft enough:sly: to pull an overtake there successfully brill:) Consequently if it turns into an epic fail you probably know whats coming.:scared: Common sense as usual:) bottom line is dont panic with the 2 wheels on track rule just this once.👍

Since it's one of the few places on track where an overtake could be possible (the others being the first turn and the tight right before the hairpin), I'm sure we'll see a few attempts there at least.

I'll be chopping as much as I can get away with to still make the corner exit.
 
I don´t like this decision.
We always had the rule to have 2 wheels on Track even at Monza.
With this we´ll get extreme cuttings at Chicane 2 !!
2 Wheels on the Red/White Curb should be the max-allowed amount of cutting.

If someone breaks this rule, while not involved in a Battle, he can get a serious amount of seconds added
example: +30 seconds

Not sure Joe but I think Gedi was meaning we are not allowed to cut the chicane but will not be penalized for the odd run over the kerbs etc.

Hanc when you clock some times mate let me know:) Im doing a bit with the Ford while S7 testing it feels good but im a bit off the times done with the Merc and the ZR1 for example just wondering if its me.:indiff:

A little late but here comes the replay of the Fuji race (was too absorbed by PS4 last week, so I didn't have time to do a Suzuka replay last week):

Fuji Speedway is one of the best looking tracks in GT5 which makes the replays look great :D

Todays the day I am moved out of my bedroom for a few weeks whilst it all gets redecorated, my participants for the rest of the season will hang in the balance till I can test the connection :scared:

Im going into an outer building we usually use when we have Guests round, my Dad did get some sort of thing for it so it extends the wi-fi range, havent actually tested it yet though :scared:
 
SLS front row last season with flat/low 47's and that was with the quali pressure and a non supercharged engine.:crazy: I managed a 146.5 with the Mercedes during S7 testing this week still running the Fuji setup starting to think i cheated!:guilty::ouch:

Can't remember my quali from last year but I think I'm round about the same time.

True, but after that I adjusted the LSD to calm the rear of the car down, which made me more consistant.



This time I just can't see how to find more time. I'm hitting the exact same laptimes with full aero and no aero, and can't take the corners any better without cutting them. I'm even riding the curb on the right hand part of the third chicane.
 
If ever theres a slow in fast track this is it:idea: I found half a second with the Ford just by implementing this technique.:)
