I'm reposting a post I made the social group here:

Please leave feedback in the social group after today's race about moments, battles etc. that might be worth covering as soon as possible, especially for the short race (preferably today after the race if you can). 👍

I have gotten a real hang of my capture card now so I might make a replay of the long race as well. :)

Great! :D

Just saw these two posts lads! If a highlights package can be arranged, I'm not going to be very busy over the next few weeks so maybe some commentary could be arranged. 👍

Maybe if I send you replay when its finished, you can make some commentary or something :)

Sure it'all be worth it kiddo like the toad says crack on! Quick plop (Fords heavy enough:sly:) then firing up.:nervous:

Wow, after all the intense practice with JB's time as comparison, I did a 1'41.1 around Tokyo. :odd:

Great racing guys fantasticly clean, keeping the Stewards job quiet :D

Gedi why did you leave race? :(

Was very clean racing nel I was most surprised :)
Keep it up guys.

Great run guys. Difficult setup for my 'Vette, glad I gave a fair account. Not a fan of totally getting mobbed at the first corner, three of us abreast...

Thought you drove the ass of it mate was a job to shake you off tbh!!:scared: Enjoyed my overtake round the outside sir.:O

It was a fight all the way, but it is the duffer of the pack. That Ford is quite odd though, not like other MR cars. Totally planted, though, likewise the Viper.

I had a blast in the race I was able to join today! (Something had happend to my ISP earlier, both cable tv, Internet and telephone had been experiencing troubles in my area this afternoon I heard, as soon as I restarted my modem and router everything worked as usual).

My start in the long race was good, took the lead. However I was struggling to find the pace actually, the Internet troubles removed my possibility to practice before the race... However after a while I found the rhythm and managed to build a small lead. Did my pit stop on lap 15 and thought I would go out in a big lead. My surprise was big when I noticed that R35 was just behind me :scared: At first I thought he hadn't done his pit stop yet, but when I began pushing on the new tyres I noticed he was way too quick to be on old tyres... And from that moment I knew I was going to become a very sweaty man xD

We had a really great fight for lap after lap. I really enjoyed it. :) I tried to hold off but R35 eventually passed me. I knew that if I didn't loose too much to him I could have chance of winning since R35 must have pitted much earlier than me. It worked. R35 pulled away slightly but with 2 laps left I began gaining. I was a bit worried about SkengD for a moment, he was gaining on me, but then he fell back for some reason. On the last lap, R35 was clearly struggling with the tyres... I had my change... and wasted it in the right hander after the ultra fast chicane. Good win R35 👍

Good first race, R35 was brave putting his car around my outside but I didn't bother risking fighting since I've heard S5 stuff, so played the patience game and well I won so clearly it works, considering I was 2 seconds back by the end of sector one on the last lap.

Race 2 was harder, I had great battles, but gearing was odd - just had no power, car was sturggling to keep up and struggled to pass on straights so I had to drive it hard through the corners, very hard to pass people but I did. Not sure if its gearing or engine but something was wrong and others would fly past me. I had to stick to the 15 lap pitstop, if I went early it wouldnt work as clean air didnt really help me as much compared to the others cos of my lack of straight line speed. Had to fight from the back, tbh the Viper was a bit of a dog at times, understeer or oversteer are your two options - but on the limit and fighting for positions was fun. Although got slightly annoyed when others seem to be able to fly past me on the straight, oh well made it more challenging. 👍

1st and a 4th, very good. Had fun tonight, race 2 very challenging.

Slightly odd question - but anyone had a MG ZR or know them very well?

what s5 stuff :sly: and I just like to establish my "authoritah" in all seriousness, it is all part of my long term race strategy :)

Yup i had a 1.8 ZR wasnt the + version so didnt even have electric windows believe it or not we didnt notice until we drove it home and tried to find the button!:ouch:

Ah im looking at 1.4 ZR+ :p only ÂŁ1000 to insurance really thinking about it, such a nice looking car but reliability isnt on its side I hear so often  would you say it was a good car?

I had an ok first race. Would have been better if I didn't gear it way too short.

Second race. Doing well then JB spun and I crashed into him. My race continued it's downward spiral from there onwards.

Should do better at spa.

Friend had one in College, kept taking it in to be fixed. So yeah his would have been on the not so reliable list. Was the 1.4 one too btw.

From what I remember first it had an on/off misfire, can't remember the other few times.

To me it all depends on the one you buy of any car, buy a decent car and it will give you little problems. But buy a stinker and you'll be living in misery. My Fiesta is a good example nearly 2 years of no issues but I know of similar Fiesta being total dogs.

To be honest mate i got it just before MG Rover bombed so sold it and cut my loses only had it 6 months from new so had little time to go wrong really. Replaced it with an IS200 oh wow.

@Haitch im old expect the odd crash from now on.:grumpy:
