I can see your point but if you can make your racing softs last the 10 laps and be in the lead.... Well theres your skill.

sure, i was talkin about driving skills, this type of cars needs sport soft at best to have some fun. i would choose sport hard

Ok then the maserati it is. I didn't read that its one car per person my bad. What about other v8 cars? Or we only running FR cars?

These are all 4 seaters which we have tested and found to be very even still plenty of choice if you dont fancy the Maserati SVT??đź’ˇ

I think I'll take the Maserati. I havent drove it yet but from the list the only other car I would take is the M3. The merc is out of control and well American cars suck lol so ya. I'll get some tuneing done in the next week or so

NO RACE MODIFICATIONS

All cars will have no more than 591BHP and weigh no less than 1420kg
THE FOLLOWING MODIFICATIONS MUST BE MADE: All weight reductions (inc bonnet and window),All 3 stages of engine upgrade and
chip,Racing exhaust,Aerodynamic modifications.
STRICTLY NO TURBOS OR SUPERCHARGERS (We can see them and anyone found with them will be permenetly excluded from the series)
Tyres are unrestricted
NO AIDS EXCEPT ABS ON 1
Damage will be on light and penaltys on weak
Ok, so these are the mods that must be done. Are we to assume that all others, ie suspension, transmission, drivetrain etc are prohibited?

Suspension,tranny,drivetrain mods are fine RP:tup:

Ok ta, and one more thing please...

I've bought and modded my Camaro, and it now weighs 1424kg which is ok

With the allowed power mods done though, its 543bhp. Best part of 50 below the series max of 591

Do I get to mod it some more to get it closer to the max or is 543 my lot, to allow for some
variation within the car pool?

Ta in advance 👍

Do us a quick favour when you got time RP do a quick lap online of Monza (our test track) and tell us what you get anything around 1.50 is competitive if the Camaro is struggling let us know and we will talk extra mods.👍

Will do 👍

While I'm here, here's my Camaro

I have a list of all the cars in this challenge and their performance points in the "2011 V8 Challenge" thread. All can make 591 and 1420 with no turbo/supercharger, except the BMW. It makes 573. Any tuning questions, let me know.

Thanks for the verification. we know all the cars are competitive with eachother.

Very kind cheers fella.

I could get my Camaro nearer to 591 by adding the racing air filter and exhaust manifold, just need to know if I'm allowed or not

Well I will be sticking to the maserati. Love this car. Does have a little bit of understeer. And what are we going to do to make sure no one cuts the chicane?

Run that Monza lap and see RP remember around 1.50's ish.👍

More fine tune testing will be done before race night.

Pens are weak so will eliminate some corner cutting would be nice to think everyone will play fair if not will discuss with 69 and may suggest everyone gets away with what you can, missing your braking point can result in accidental chicane cutting which may be tricky to penilise people via replay?? What does everyone think hope for fairplay?? or leave it open and get away with what you can??:scared:

I'll give this a shot if I have time.

I think if everyone is legit and races fair and say you brake late n half to take cutting thR chicane and there is someone right behind u that Ur in front of now due to passing the chicane, slow down n give that spot up till they pass you

You finding all the cars competitive enough 62?? The tests we done found they were??đź’ˇ

I've done one practice session, and I'm way behind one of our Lexus drivers, as is one of our Camaro drivers, but we've just started tuning the cars so they should get a lot faster. It looks like they will be very competitive.

Gentlemen, feel free and Friend Request any of us from the "American" version of the series... we could all get together and tune and practice!
