I was curious today, so I took a Mazeratti out for a spin. I brought it up to spec but ran it as a time trial on Racing Hards. I only got 1:30.??

I used the RH's due to the offline/online physics differences. I think I might be able to be an emergency for Suzuka. So I am trying a couple of cars.

@ stu this is a good friendly series just how we wanted it.

Wow have I had some hangtime pushing it and clipping the curbs before/after the finish line on hot laps :lol: TMC is unforgiving if you miss yout braking point :D

I realised I didnt change my power limiter from when I ran the Cam in a few online servers last week, I ran Tokyo on 566PP which equats to 565bhp :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: my race engineer has been sacked ahead of TMC :lol: :lol:

By my reckoning, thats Furinkazen. So if you haven't got one Furi, its yours

If you have, imo it should go to the 3rd place driver if he hasn't got one, etc etc

Thing is, I believe theres a limit on the value of cars that you can gift is there?

If so, is there a way round it? How does it work with Milldrum doing it with tickets?

Anyway, let me know how to go about it, yeah? :D
 
You have to keep it RP, can't trade a car over 1 million. I've got a level 23 ticket at the moment but I can't be bothere backing it up and keep trying till I get an LMP I don't have. I will some day.:lol:

I got it badly earlier when I opened a 1967 ticket without backing it up presuming I'd get one of the racers, nope some slow piece of crap.:lol:
 
you can send any level tickets but you cant trade car tickets over 1m.
 
My time seems to be pretty fast but the car just feels horrible.:yuck: These things are to sensitive for Trial Mountain. Everyone must be having a hard time with this track, or just a slow time.:lol:

It seems the options are a high speed setup which is very twitchy and could lead to lots of spins or a slower speed setup which absorbs the bumps.

I have got middle ground I think. Car still feels horrible, but not as bad as before and still capable of 1:25.0's and the odd 24 8's or 9's
 
I have not done 1 bit of testing on TM, so im looking around the 1.25-26 then.

I send them from my trading account. As long as a ticket isn't for a set car worth more than $1mil, or is for a class of car,(24 ticket is for Formula cars.) then you can send it.

I'm going to practice Suzuka for 2.5 weeks to try to catch up to your speeds. I'm 5 seconds per lap slower on Trail Mountain so far. I don't know where to find 5 seconds in the Mazeratti though.
 
Oh yeah, that reminds me, tomorrow I'm going to do the Laguna Seca endurance race with a stock Maserati on sport mediums. Wish me luck.:scared:
 
I love the specs for this series. My Maz is up to specs. It drives real nice. It is the driver that is going to have to speed up.

My other game save has a Dodge up to specs on it. I'll be trying that one as well. I'll have an advantage for Suzuka if I make it. I have 2.5 weeks to tune and practice.

I want to make a race to save it and take some photos. Then the 'Sponsors Favouite Car Awawd' will be easier to choose.

I think i have a Maz with a good setup. If you some ideas, ill PM you the setup i got for it and maybe work around that.

Johnboy: There is a premium Esprit which would seem to make more sense instead of the standard. Also, what about the premium Aston? That's a 4 seater I think.

The V8 Vantage is a nice car, but I don't think it could get enough weight off

Alfa 8C and SLS AMG would fit this series a treat though, I reckon :cool:

The premium Aston is a V12 nooooo, and the premium Esprit cant get on terms BHP wise with what im looking into.👍

Next season may break away from the 4 seater rule sshhhhh.:sly:

Lol V12 yes correct just wanted to cross the Vantage off the list weight was a concern but still want to see sure one wil crop up soon, the Alfa will be tested next to see performance against the rest ive blooded.👍

And yes RP the SLS was one ive blooded hush hush.
