Abuot Monza chicane, i thought there will be more spills on the first chicane instead of the second one. How wrong was I.

As for Monaco, still early to talk about that don't you all think? lol. Plus, we have Deep Forest to think about. That long left hand corner into the straight before the tunnel is where the race will be won or lost i think. One will have to take that seriously good and be gentle on the tyres there. Especially with that dip just before the turn, one false move and your car could spin and choas will follow.

Theres loads of dips and bumps on this track, should be fun though.

Its a track that will make you shake, rattle and roll. Im scared for my back and my car's suspensions.

If we're allowed to respray can I spray mine a gravel trap colour so no one can tell I spent my race in them

Its those dips and bumps that turn my tyres red even if im coasting over them, the Camaro just doesnt like Deepforest and yet round Monaco its as stable as anything lol

Now that would be funny!

just one question, can we use the concrete patch before the tunnel? I think it's not a part of track, but you dont get penalyt for driving there :)

Shouldn't be a problem. By going on them you still have 2 tyres on the track. Sometimes you just hit the cliff due to miss reading your speed. Even though its safer to keep it on the track, dont think it would be wrong to hit the concrete. Could be said that its a flat curb.

As long as 2 wheels are on track and you don't use it to overtake if you know what I mean!

I have a suggestion. I think that we should turn penalties off to avoid ghosting.

Everytime you had 2 wheels on the inside of the turn you would be ghosted. And when we came around to lap jackargent he was ghosted because he was behind. I think that if thier i an incident, it could be reviewed using the replay and a fair penalty could be given out.

I could monitor replays of you want?

I think that would be a fair way of racing. I actually hate it when someone is ghosted while racing. Sometimes it puts you out of your groove and wonder what happened instead of concentrating in front of you.

Normally in online racing, the player who created an accident, by mistake obviously, he would normally let the other pass him and resume racing. Its one way of getting out of the penalty unless deemed necessary to take action. Racing with the lads here, i have a feeling that we shouldn't have a problem going down that road.

^ I will discuss the idea with 69 the penalties were set to weak firstly because our first race was at Monza and being as we didnt know how drivers would treat the ethics of this track regarding the dreaded chicane chop, and B we were unsure of the kind of people we would attract and didnt want a first corner pile up due to 2/3 idiots. As we now know the calibre of the guys we have (and its top drawer by the way:)) on the grid and the fact Monza is out of the way the penalty change will be considered guys if thats everyones preference.👍

How does the rest of the field feel about the idea??

Hey Gik,

Johnboy sent me a PM inviting me to the series. I won't be able to make all the races, but I will attend when I can. Could you add me to the reserve list please? I've put the relevant details below:

I was thinking the same as ghosting was annoying me at monza and like JB has said we needed it for that 1st race.

I dont think we will either as we are all friendly in this series.

Thats cool si just join in when you can.

Safe to say on the tight right hander before 1st tunnel and the last corner on the track everyone needs to stay away from me coz I seem to go round then sideways all the time

Good test tonight fellas i got good pace but where the hell can you overtake!!!!!!!!

Soz for the few taps, your car looks futher than it is, you have amazing pace atm compared to the other three of us practicing tonight, i have speed on the starights but no pace in the twisty bits so if someone holds you up i can keep up in the middle section but if no1 is holding you, you shoot off lol , getting used to it

think the pit straight is defo good with a tow as long as the person in front doesnt weave all over like lewis hamilton and the up hill staright near the end.

suprisingly good i was happy with the wear, tried to keep smooth but fast, i no longer worry about the tires its the setup thats worrying me im still on stock except ballast, brake balance, transmission. hitting 1:15's mainly and 1:14 on flyers

It seemed that the RWD had some problems. But we only had 3 lap races to get the feel of the track with 'mini' traffic. I had problems only with my front right tyres on this track with a few moments of having my rear tyres screeching as well. But it was minimum.

Some pics coming up soon... INTENSE STUFF!👍
