Reading up and stalking other series it still seems 12+ grids are out of the question Toca for one last night bombed again (16 unhappy drivers)!:yuck: Until if and when we get a fix i sure dont want to encourage the bug.
So topic of the day what do we do??💡 I dont think its good to let the series stagnate im not even sure all the sign ups are still keen:scared: Havent heard much from a few of them now.

1.So we either sit it out and wait for a wonder fix and keep our format to maximum grids and hope everyone remains interested, carry on bug/room testing etc. (over 12 for a test sometime is vital i for one havent tried since bug release. Could though 1 night be ok and another be infested always a concern someones bound to blame it LOL??:sick)

2.We work out a way of running 2 divisions of 8/10 (depending on interest come race 1) If for any given reason we have a quiet night both divisions can always join up to maximise the numbers. Every organised series i read up on is running the 2 division system in order to simply get things going. We can always kick off like this and revert back if a fix is implemented as long as each division is only 8 each obviously which i think it will be.

Its not ideal and its a bitch we have to accommodate for PD's incompetence but after last nights success testing the cars race pace i for one are keen to get going atleast as soon as my turny thing turns up:sly: HURRY UP!!!!:eek:

Might go fine fella on one given night just whether you want to risk it on another thats the concern:scared: Be interested to see what everyone feels.:indiff:

It might just be Furi's lounge, TomMcD, Dax and myself have not suffered from problems with more than 13 people in our lounge..

Fingers crossed Tom ive done everything in my knowledge to make my lounge the best it can be.:scared: Dax is going to pm me after his race tonight to let me know how things go.:nervous:

Maybe your lounge Tom could be an option if mines crap.

I won't be able to make tomorrow or the 6th of feb. I would like to join up but might be struggling to get back in time for qualifying which is why asked about qualifying on another day.

If there's 12 guys, just make one lounge as the bug doesnt effect as much compared to 13-14 cars

Im up for starting 👍

Also use someone's room who has not been effected by the bug. I am so don't use my room. JB was alright but then there was only 3 people :confused: Some testing is needed I believe!

This is what tmw night will be about really, see if we can find a lounge that's bug free and see how it goes.

Ah ok I understand now 👍

Also the Teams bit, can I just enter on my own? Like be my own manufacturer but just me as a driver. Because you could do like a manufacturer team (BMW example) and then if another driver (on other team) uses it, they could be a Private team, so a bit like Le Mans with the offical Peugeot team and then the private team

Yes Andy independents is cool we just add the teams bit just for a bit of extra fun.

As for extra teams we would have to see how many diff cars are picked first.

Im testing in JB lounge at Suzuka. Join if you want 👍
Also has anyone tested at Suzuka? I got a 2:01.252, is that a good time? Felt good :lol:
 
Just done some testing at Suzuka and Fuji

All times were done on RS
Fuji = 1.38.861 (was 0.2 on another lap up but made small mistake)
Suzuka = 2.01.252 (Only did a few laps)
Monza = 1.47.0 (Havent run with the newer setup yet)

Much happier than before :D Thanks to all the guys that helped out with giving setups and advise, really helped 👍

Youve fallen for the Mas huh Andy:sly: Btw ive tweeked my lounge since the bug struck so im ever hopeful it will be ok time will tell. Over 12 is very risky whatever lounge we are in we can but try ofcourse.:nervous:

Rp sorry if things have felt a bit vague testing the cars has taken alot our spare time lately we are still very much committed to the series mate just nervy about when to get going. I will be sending some pm's out to the likes of Jonzster who hasnt been on gtp for a couple of weeks now hang in there bro we'll get there.

Me Stu and Andy had some awesome trouble free races last night never more than half a second in it and i tried all the cars!!:crazy:

Andy will keep an eye on those times and let you know mr.:sly:

Depends how tomorrow goes I think

If it goes well (no bugs etc) then I think you would have to decided by the orignal deadline or a few days later

If it doesnt go well, then you have more time to decide. I think thats how its going to work.......

I love the vette King. At Monza with JB and Andy i was losing out in straight line speed (maybe wrong gearing) but in the corners the car was great.
 
Andy last night i was on racing softs hope your maserati was otherwise i quit now!:nervous:Stu i was dead set on the Vette the 40 extra horses Andy had has really tightened things up so im stuck right now might just take a lucky dip! The Camaro felt even slower than the Vette imo although was still great in the corners guess its all about were you do your overtaking as to what car to plump for hey even the Merc had some scary draft speed hell its tricky!!:crazy:
Oh and King bring a few cars to try out if you like i did now im even more confused.:confused:

Yeah I was too :lol: I was worried you were both on racing hards :scared:

Also did a 1.42.024 at Fuji on RH, best I can do but i've cut 1.3 seconds off from before and only 0.3 off your best 👍

Yeah you can't drive cars like this were out a wheel I find I suck with ds3 :ouch:

And its good that all the cars are close yet have advantages and disadvantages too 👍 Makes for good racing and hopefully a close season! :D

Thats the plan (Close i mean:tup:) 8 cars was pretty ambitious! You know how i feel about Ds3 why do you think Monza was track of choice lastnight its the only one i could do with the noddy joystick:yuck:
No DTM wendesday either for me.:grumpy:

Ah ok I understand now 👍 Im about to go to Monza and test. You can join if you want, seeing as you need to select a car :sly:

And if your not there for DTM we cant beat the Merc's :scared:
