Yeh, me and RP had a few laps around Nurb F. Did a 5 lap race on softs, RP in a lexus. 50% tyre wear after the 5 laps. Then had a couple of races on meds and hards. Could stay with RP, now using BM, but could not get past. Tyre wear was better but lap times obviously slower.

5 laps with 50% tyres left sounds good stu.
Il try and get on later.
Did the meds or hards last longer than softs?

I was finding it easier to follow, when i was leading i was trying to push and the tyres were suffering. Fuji will be different though, as i have said it's one of my least favourite tracks. Will hopefully tag on to some one and follow them round and hope for a drag race to the line. :sly:

meds and hards were lasting better but can't remember how much slower they were for a lap.

I was a tad tipsy last night so I don't remember much about it :dopey: I remember enough to know
that I won't be using the tyre-killing Lexus though

The M3 for me I think, as posted before. It's lacking some grunt seeing as it's 'only' a 4ltr, but
it handles well and is very kind to tyres

The lexus looked like a good drift car :ouch:
Probably is, but given some time with set-up I reckon it could be calmed down

If it wasn't for the tyre wear issue I'd use it because the extra 1000cc over the
BMW makes it a quicker car

Maserati is perfect :sly:

So is my vette!

My vette is also perfect, it's the driver where the problem lies. :nervous:

It's nice to be able to set fast times, but as we know the racing is a different beast all together. The spanner in the works this time is going to be the 2 divisions. You will have 2 laps to nail a good time. I think people will miss out on div 1 by 100ths of a second. Look at F1 some of the best in the world fail to deliver when the chips are down.

Stu

I do still oppose the two divisions. I mean, if there are too little people in both and they're connected, then all the points standings will get messed up...

I love the idea of having to fight to get into div1. Makes it much better in my opinion, really makes people push to try and get 10th place in div1, rather than a win in div2 👍

This our only option carb!
16 in a lobby will be a bug nightmare and we can't ditch 8 drivers.

So what division am I?

None at the moment. You qualify for each race, then depending on your time your put into div1 or 2. And you can be in div1 or 2 for anyrace, so theres no perment place for each driver in the div1, so its a bit like F1 qualifying

Whatever, just if it has to be 2 divisions, the qualification system had better be something else than a single lap shootout. That's too merciless.

All is good with me Gedi, variety is the spice of life. Just want to get back to racing.

Fastest 8 in quali goes into div 1. Think it's like this for every round, as in you may be in div1 for Fuji but not for the next round.

To me that sounds extremely complicated in any case. How do you calculate points then? We can't have a valid championship like this...

Same points only bonus for getting into div1

Me and jb have thought it through for many weeks trying to get it right & fair
It has been a real stressfull time trying to work things around the bug so we can get started, we can't make you all happy but me and jb will try our hardest.
Either this or wait for pd to sort it.

This is not a road that we wanted to go down as we like our usual concept.

Personally, I'd rather wait the bug out than get going. As it's affected lap-times as well.

The way I see it, we can't really compete for the championship very fairly with two divisions... it would be okay if we had over 16 drivers which needed to be divided into two groups... but at the moment, we all need to compete in the same room to get a proper viewpoint of the guys' pace, and we need to wait out the bug to make it work.

Sorry for confusing text...

Everyone has waited long enough Carb theres a danger the series will go stale unless we try and move things along. Andy has his series tonight will wait and see what he reports back hes running 13/14 guys i think.
For me S3 should run 2 divisions at this stage unless come the 13th things are totally sorted cant see it however so we have to come up with a contingency plan. Yep not ideal and its not want we want but with all due respect Toca is sitting still and we all know how well thats put together. Theres nothing to say S4 cant run with the same spec as S3 if 100% sorted we revert back to 1 lounge full grids etc atleast S3 can get going and we can run some races.:)

Remember if things are quiet we will team up in 1 room div1 qualifiers can still have their bonus points ofcourse. Like Gedi says not everyone will be happy with the situation we sure as hell are not:yuck: trying to come up with a workable system hasnt been fun let me tell you.

Just think 2 divisions gives the slightly slower guys a chance at a bit of glory which i think is kinda of a nice twist on things stop looking at the negatives and think of the positives for one we race again!!;)

We need to look at the points system Gedi has already pm'd me on this we will chat it over the original points system may stay in the background incase we end up joining up. Any ideas on the points system will be listened to and discussed were open to suggestions as always:D, the bonus points think we agreed on 10 will still be available to all Div 1 qualifiers that much we have decided on.

Gedi bloody cold this weekend!!:nervous:

Nah... well I definitely want to race, but I don't see as much excitement in 8 car grids as there is in 14 car grids... :/
