Its launch night tomorrow again i think so if time sure can do. Im going to test out the final Q method in a bit. 3 lap race with pens on heavy tyre wear off will help keep those Q laps super clean so best be careful.:scared:

Tested Gedi deffo the way to go you naughty boys will be found out so practice those clean laps you know who you are hehe.:sly:

What we talking about Q lap or race lap?? Sorry.

If Q you get a 10 second penalty with heavy pens on so i guess if you cut the corner 3, 5, or more times it would be pretty pointless.

I posted something in the stewie group (for Gedi and JB).
For Qualy I´m cool with the penalties but I or an other Lobby host would watch anyway
=> We see If Driver X cuts/runs wide

For sure King we will still watch but heavy pens on for Q will simply cut out any arguements wether a corner was cut or not,the guide is there in place.👍 As for the race we will use an element of common sense, lap 1 can always throw up a cut or two as things settle down after that you have no need too Theres a little room for error ofcourse but the clean guys will no longer be penalised for keeping it tidy afterall it should be the other way round.

But I know whats you intention: Everybody has the same base. Above is cool but for a Qualy you need a base which is set for everybody. 👍

Its such a tricky balance imo King between focusing to much on what people may do wrong or may do right its something everyone must be aware of by now (i hope:nervous:)
The issue is there and everybody is bright enough to figure out what they can and cant get away with we dont want it becoming such a big deal that it spoils things however so please please keep it tidy (Me inclueded!:scared:):guilty:

Gedi can you confirm what the 2 lounge settings should be??

Grip: Low/Real.?
Mechanical Damage:Light/None?
Visible Damage: Off?
Start Type for both Races: Grid Start with false start check.?

Furi etc whats a good setting for the "weather race" all new to me?? 75% /8/ 10% sensible??

Ive raced in a couple of series where we used the 4 lap race Qualification. 1 out, 2 hot, 1 in. Usually with 2 at a time if time was tight. With a couple of people watching to see if the laps were dirty or not. This only really came in to play at places with stupid amounts of run off, like monza for example. But all in all most racers ive raced with are generally honest peeps wanting to play by the rules. But, yes, there are exceptions!

Just asking (sorry if I'm starting to bother) but wouldn't the low grip reduction setting defeat the purpose of having weather changes?

I'm pretty sure we done low grip because of the bug, I may be wrong!

Carbs right mate thats why i checked settings confirmation earlier it was visable damage which was risky.:dopey:

And Rp theres plenty of series running the split division 2 lounge set up no reason why we cant have a little luck and it work for us.👍

Ok that's cool, but I'm sure you said low before nevermind.
 
I am going to stick with my original choice of car -the Jaguar. Team Jag are still hiring btw ;)
