Official FTR Driver Statement​

FTR's Number 2 Driver, Tom Brooks took some time out to tell us about his qualifying effort at Fuji Speedway. "It was a good effort, I could've have pushed a little bit harder to get into the high 1.39's but I played it safe and set a 1.40.004. A good lap in my opinion, considering I have been struggling to get used to the BMW. We've been having a few problems involving the car, but I'm not going to let that dampen our spirits. I'm hopeful that this lap will get me a mid-grid slot and if not then I'm sure I can make it up during the race."​

I ofcourse judged my own a rather impressive 134.865 i also would like to thank god my freinds family and the dodgy geezer with the stopwatch!!:sly:
 
Just ran 2 lapper with the same car I used at Fuji, but at Sarthe. Racing softs no good after 1.25 laps. Got punted by a big lag guy after an amazing start.
 
Pd has said this so I'm not getting my hopes up for tonight!!

Gedi all we can do is try if its no good we leave things as they are mate. For me its unclear exactly whats been done ive read the news article you quoted this is why im so against mics i take it thats voice chat.:yuck:

Gedi was commenting on it being a little slower now. About 2 seconds slower. So that turns a 1:36 into a 1:38. Your 1:40 is not a bad start Tom.

I reckon with heavy pens in place high 138's is very good, low mid 139s a safer bet under pressure.:scared:
