It would be selfish for the rest of us to except JK2's offer of a handicap if and when Tony Kart gets in he will no doubt give him a run for his money. Until then its gonna be pretty lonely for JK2 out front.:indiff:
 
Tom is the host tonight for Div 2 and i have sent him this as a guide.

Race 1 10 laps

Visual damage off
mechanical damage light
penaltys off
tyre wear off
slipstream weak

when the time comes to get all the ppl in order you must reset the track so theres no times on track (very important).

then you must get all the heavy cars in 1st 1450 kg 552 bhp (lexus,camaro & vettes)
syjones1
hiatch
nejack
(when getting them on the track they must not leave the pits at all)
Then 1420 kg 591bhp to get the rest of you in.
once all of you are in the pits you must send them on track in this order and they must wait at turn 1

Race 2 23 laps

Tyre wear on
Reverse grid

when the time comes do the weight class again (heavys 1st)
get them in the pits and hit start.

Also Tom set your room to 10 drivers so it stops others from joining

Yeah even with a few tweaks to my setup following JK2 great post on car setup (ty sir) I'm now just managing low 1'37 there's no way I can get near 1'35's as he did in practice :scared:
 
Even with jk2's setup I can't get my lap times down much and im still slow. :(
 
I've done his setup for the vette and the car feels worse and tyre wear is worse.

The way I read JB's post ..... Finishing ahead of another driver gives us a great feeling, but where is the gratification if you finish ahead of a driver who uses a less competitive car (by adding weight). It was selfish of me to propose as fighting in the pack is fun, but it would take away any sense of accomplishment beating me on the track.

The Vette is truly a weird car...

With no unfriendlyness in this comment, I hope JK is enjoying his lonely time in the lead then, since the others won't.
 
It will be interesting to see what pit strategy people will opt for tonight. Making a 3 stopper (5,6,6,6 laps) is not going to be easy. To get 6 laps on a set of tyres, I will have to nurse them from the very first lap. One slide making the tyres red, and 6 laps is a real challange.

I haven't raced on softs since the new tyrewear model came out. I think I will buy a set of Mediums in case I need to do 7 laps on a stint.

Sail, whatever way you wanna race so be it, even if it is a lost cause(which it probably will be) I will chase you down as hard as possible, 110%, besides, I've always wanted to race an alien door to door.:trouble:

I think it could actually be more profitable to race with more durable tires at Fuji rather than softs, because pitting a lot of times truly slows you down on this track with the pitlane in a hard-to-reach spot in the middle of the main straight. I would like to do a 1 stopper if possible, but if the car shows excessive oversteer with worn tires, that'll be out of the question.
 
Sail just race how you want to race, drivers talent is no issue here.

I have never viewed myself as an ailien. Maybe its because I have raced a lot against some guys that are crazy fast. If you ever met Tony1311, GTP_Rutter, Knilch, Luckaffe, Nissman32, Adrrmm you would know. I had to be very fortunate to finish ahead of them. Tony1311 no way. He is on his own planet.

But I also raced Tony cart (immortalpilot), and we have about the same pace. He might actually be a tad quicker, but I think I race smarter so it evens itself out and I think the stats might be slightly in my favour. I hope he will join and get to race.
 
I've been noticing from the replays that ppl have been setting there abs higher than our stated 1.
Why is this?
