I did a 1:09.401 after everyone left on my 9th lap in a test run. Tyres were a tad worn by then, I rekon I have a few more tenths in the Seat as I was .05 down in S1 and S2 on my outright bests. May try the Focus and see if it can still hit 8s :sly:.

8's?? Really?
 
Yeah in S2 I gave my test times to JB, through PMs, Focus was like 8.9 with a bit more in it, Civic '08 9.3 etc etc. This was pre 2.09 though.

Might see as I'm curious about it.

Hey I helped you and a few others, King and Polar are the most recent I helped ;). The Seat in T4/5 is so fun, sideways monkey :drool:.
 
I am sorry to say I will be retiring from the BTCC Online Championship and proberly Gran Turismo 5.

This is due to a run of non-stop bad fortune with my races.
And I don't get that 'Buzz' from GT5. I would carry on racing in GT5 if there was championships to race in, but nothing takes my pick and it seems there is nothing left....


I hope to focus on my real racing career

I'm sad to hear that mate, but perhaps it was inevitable. Cheers for creating the series, I know a lot of us have good fun with it.

There's now a full-time drive available for paulmac if he wants it. If not, I'll open it up to new boys.

I guess races had better take place in my lounge from now on then.

OK well I can put you in a full-time space anyway, and if you can't race and there's a reserve, then I can always ask them if they wanna join. 👍

I'm gonna guess this means no more sc61jgw either... so I guess unless Furi is free enough to take a seat full-time, there's one drive currently open for any takers.

Waiting to see if Furi wants a full-time seat, he says he'll know in 24 hours. If he takes it then we're back to 16/16, if not then I guess if you're interested...

In the meantime, if you want to sign up as a reserve karsten go ahead.
 
Very early to say I know, but I think for Season 5 I'll be going back to basics with the car list and having much fewer cars, mainly to make testing less laborious and to make the series more update-proof.

It could be the case that I split the bigger list in half and have it on rotation, season-by-season, but I don't know if there will be enough cars to do that.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. More updates to follow. 👍
