1150kg. I posted a little while back about dropping its weight, as I think it needs it. But yes, do what you like with tuning and aero, so long as it meets the regs. 👍

For anyone concerned with these last-minute fixes, fear not, I don't intend to make any more changes to the car regs this season, or drop any more cars.

Sorry jb, I totally forgot. Doing testing with it atm so don't have any spare :nervous:

Interesting skeng, the '01 Civic has been pretty hopeless in my hands compared to the '04, so I guess Weezy has a good tune or is doing wonders with the car!

Ah awesome gonna test tonight probably. Do we have to run rear aero and is there an advantage? Im not very clever with setups as JB well tell you :dopey:
 
I wouldn't use me as a benchmark for the '01 Civic........am one of the slower guys in the series.

Its the opposite for me though...the '04 civic turned up a couple of times in UCD, so i finally got one. I've found it to be slower than the '01 civic....using the exact same tune on both cars.

My best time at GVE was a 1:09.8xx but consistently getting 1:10.1xx. Have decided to give manual transmission a go after years of driving auto....so i might be able to squeeze out a few more tenths

Aero is not mandatory - use it if you want, don't if you don't :)

As for an advantage... depends on the kind of track.

just to recap the situation i'm currently the first out of the race right?

so i should show off at racetime in case someone skips?

also did anyone send me a car out of those available in the UCD? in the last 3 days i found none of those in the list...

Yes, you're the first reserve at the moment. If there's a space for a race I will let you know in advance. If I don't know then be here about race time and I can tell you if you can come in or not. 👍

Alfa GTA is 1150kg, and Integra is no longer available. 👍

Yeah about 2 seconds slower per lap for my testing, shame really. Reducing weight makes it slower too - very odd

to be honest i did test with the alfa in S2 and it was better than the vectra :D they were runnning it with almost zero setup :P

also now that they corrected the tires behaviour i guess the vectra wouldn't be so desperately slow... i remember a race in which both me and the bosz would run out of rubber on lap 3 of 12 :D

Im pretty sure someone wont show this week and that should more or less make you full time

I know! 19 on the books so far, must be a record. Can't guarantee the Golf drivers are going to turn up though, but the rest look pretty solid 👍
