Oh dear I forgot all about this and the first race of the season is starting tomorrow. And the bad thing is that I haven't even picked a vehicle to replace the Lexus yet :banghead: .

Rolo, if you're reading this, I probably need to do some testing now before it's too late. If I don't respond back confirming which car I'm going to use, is it okay that I can just turn up in the car I want (providing there are spaces for it) and you note down what car I'm using and that's what I use for the rest of the season? Thanks 👍 .

Yeah OK, whatever you turn up with tomorrow, you'll be using. The only manufacturer which may get full is Honda, otherwise spaces shouldn't be an issue 👍

I get no speed out of it at all. I'm much, much better with the 120i.. but I suppose that's cos it drives more like an FF.

I'm not even bothering to test it, because 1) how bad I am with it, and 2) you guys have proven its worth time and again :sly:
 
Is the BMW faster off race pace wise? I'm struggling to get it into the 1:09's, got the Civic into 1:09.774
 
Bmw is a great all around car , its better at some tracks than the ff cars , tracks with long straights are better for ffs , tracks with lots of corners the bmw rules

👍 amazed at how its just me and julle in the beemer although I suppose it is just preference...

Its good handling, and almost as quick as other cars (0.3 off my best time at GV), but its slow on the straight so its hard to overtake/defend from other cars.Tough decisions to be made

i kinda like bmw and might go for it but it's so desperately slow on straights... i thing i lose about 0.5s on gve straight

1.10.4 was my best >_> i should run and hide i know :D

i usually run 1.10.8 or slower
 
Just a quick word for reserves: if the two Golf drivers don't show tomorrow (which looks likely considering I've not heard a peep from them for weeks), then they shall be kicked, and karsten and Strawman will be promoted to full-time drives. 👍

Also another little word after tonight's test racing: I will be watching for stupid crashes and incidents - the same penalty system as last season applies. Remember to PM stewards (me, killa and skeng) with any complaints. Preferably, please PM all 3 of us at once, so we all get the same info. 👍
 
I'm gonna have to quit this season.

I'm running slower than my actual normal race pace and as I mentioned before I'm kinda bored with GT at the mo.

I haven't got the desire to practice (today was the longest I've been on for about a month and that was only for about an hour!) and my 'race kraft' is suffering because of it.

Playing far to much Black Ops2 at the minute and with GTA5 out early March as well I can't see myself putting any serious time into GT for awhile.

I'm gonna stick around the thread tho as I enjoyed racing with you guys and hopefully my mojo will come back in a couple of months or so (please Kaz release track packs!) of not, see you on GT6 :D

Hope it goes well and you get a full grid most races!....

Gonna be a close season as some really fast guys competing this season.

karsten promoted to full-time. What I said in the post before still applies, but MiuraSV will obviously be promoted too in that case.

GTA5 will be a) awesome and b) a time-killer.. already pre-ordered :p

I expect it will, just go through phases, sometimes I can play it 5-6hrs everyday with no issues what so ever and keep coming back for more but at the moment I can bring myself to play it at all :( - still love it tho!

Yeah GTA should be awesome, heard its like GTA3 which is great as 4 got abit boring later on, all the videos look quality tho!

Early March isn't it?
